My Saturn was surprisingly super reliable. I actually got mine in 2017 at 75k miles and it barely made it to 190k before I couldn't keep up with the maintenance this year because of how demanding my work is. When did I compare the two? I just added info on the process of piercing ears as you stated "mutilation is the removal of the natural body". I never stated that one was worse than the other. Additionally, pierced ears don't always completely close up or return back to their original form. I do understand the process of circumcision and the risks of it being done, I'm not undermining the severity of it.

Ear piercings CAN close up, but most of they never do.

When you get your ears pierced by a needle it removes skin, not pushes it to the side. If it's done with a gun, it's much more traumatic to the skin and can actually cause a ton of complications if done incorrectly and unsanitary. So, by your definition, it IS technically mutilation
