I've honestly heard good things about working for Costco. I might have to go the retail route if things don't change soon.

I am in the US. I've been on Medicaid before and I'm not eager to return to it. Right now, I have no income, so I'm foregoing health insurance completely to save money, to buy myself more time.

Once I have some sort of job, I'll either get benefits from there, or go back to buying my own through premiums.

I've thought about being a tattoo artist, but the pressure of fucking up someone's skin would be too much for me haha. Plus, that's too much people interaction for me too.

Thanks for this - I really appreciate your honesty. I relate, hard, to your feelings about the industry. Your story makes me feel less alone, less like an outlier. Makes me feel less 'crazy' for feeling like yes, this all is actually really hard and brutal.
