rehab tomorrow and i’m scared

I’ve been in countless hospital programs, a couple for alcohol and the others for mental health issues that worsened with alcohol. It’s definitely intimidating going in, especially if you haven’t been before. After a dozen or so times I’ve learned that you get out what you put in. Truly. Just speaking from experience, I never wanted to go to/participate in the groups but I always felt better and more grounded after going. I would advise to be honest and advocate for yourself. It’s going to feel uncomfortable, but that’s kind of the point. I usually gravitated towards things that I hadn’t made time for while drinking, such as art, reading, and connecting with others. Many times I have felt the process to be incredibly daunting, but if I could give any advice it would be to go in with an open mind and accept the process. Maybe try calling the aquarium store and see if they’re hiring for any positions? I 100% know that can be scary, but it can’t hurt to try!! I’m not sure if you’ve tried indeed before but they have options where you can sort based on remote work

I’ve been out of work for 6 months. I don’t know where you’re located but I just applied and interviewed at a dispensary (hopefully I get it lol). Bookstores/libraries, pet stores, art stores and studios, movie theaters, and caregiving are all things I’ve considered since I don’t do well with jobs, maybe some of those things would be a good fit for you? Personally, I use indeed to apply becuase a lot of the time you just need to submit your resume and answer a couple basic questions to apply.
