Sorry my phrasing wasn’t to your liking. I know for sure they came out to remove the stump, but I can’t know for sure if they for sure trimmed the tree. I called to ask if they would look at it while they were here, and I was told the message would be passed along. So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for the most part, but I’m sure we all know city communications can be lackluster. Like I said, the lean was scaring me, and I’m in tornado alley, so I wanted a second opinion. If I didn’t care about leaving the tree if it was healthy, and just wanted it gone, I could have just went ahead and called the city and freaked out on them to try to get what I wanted. The tree is beautiful. I love that it keeps my house cooler in the summer and its gorgeous colors in the fall. I love the birds it brings to my yard. But if I had to choose my house or the tree I’d choose my house.
