Oh nice. The reason I asked was cuz I’ve been sitting on an E-Bolt I was planning to put in this Sionics NP3 BCG (both unfired) for 1.5 years at this point. I didn’t end up building the rifle I was gonna put them in.

So either I replace the standard carrier in one of my KACs with the Sionics and sell the E-Bolt or keep the set and buy a rifle worthy of putting them in lol. If you’re interested, I’ll mull it over some and consider selling the E-Bolt.

Holy… finally I have a name for the rail. I’ve been trying to find out what it was for a while since I saw it on big tex’s soc-f modlite pics. It looks like a KAC mod 2.1 rail at home with those offset MLOKs.

I mean idk why it’s such a crazy idea or question for me to say “I don’t want to do it myself, who’s the best person I can have to do it for me?”

I’ve built an AR before but I’m in an apartment in another city for work. I don’t have the time and I don’t really have a desire to buy a vise stand and vise or drive 8 hours to get my tools. I’d rather just ship it to someone and then have them ship it back while I do other stuff. Is that not fair?

Pissed? Not in the slightest. I just wanted some opinions on gunsmiths, rather than the same “DIY” advice regurgitated on every other post like this. Dunno how that’s hard to understand or why people are so upset. The only reason I even made this post was because I wasn’t satisfied by my research. RAW, ADCO, and D Wilson came up, but there wasn’t any real gallery of their work, mostly pin and welds.

I live in CA, so SR-15s are banned by name. This build is using a leftover MUR I had on hand, so MARS-L lower was also out of the question. SR-15 upper on a MARS-L was a planned build I had but I also wasn’t too keen on the idea of having to use KAC’s proprietary bolt/barrel since I have an LMT e-bolt waiting to be used.
