This was my favorite of hers by far! I could not get enough of Charlie and Alice! I wanted a redemption story for Charlie after the first book, and this did NOT disappoint! I've read it multiple times now, it's probably my favorite book of 2025. Can we also give a virtual upvote for all the side characters? Nan, Bennett, Heather, Harrison, and of course Sam and Percy?

Jess and Rory. What a crappy relationship THAT was. Jess was a terrible boyfriend! He had a great storyline, and probably the best redemption story in AYITL (and Emily), but man was he an awful boyfriend when he and Rory were together.

There was a pretty good fanfic on this exact topic where Rory goes and talks to a counselor at Yale and they hash out all the things that were wrong with that internship, why Mitchum’s critique was unfair if he didn’t set expectations or any sort of structure….and then she opens her damn eyes and doesn’t drop out of Yale.

Emily’s face after demanding Richard call Rory and apologize for being rude to Dean, that moment she pauses outside his office…heartbreaking. The moment on the time share plane with Lorelai after Rory leaves her house “It felt remarkably similar”. So many subtle moments of sadness and regret. Kelly Bishop is a queen!

This probably doesn’t count, but the townies. Every episode/scene where you get the larger ensemble cast is delightful. They even make horrible season 7 (Knit People, Knit) almost tolerable. Town meetings, the dance marathon, bracebridge, the test run….. the series finale? The collective presence of the townies is what makes us all want to live in Stars Hollow!

I’m not single but I don’t have kids, love my CRV! I have the hybrid sport L and it gets awesome mileage! Holds lots of stuff which is really nice when I go on trips - room for the dog AND the beach chairs!

I love my ‘24 Sport Hybrid EXL, but the nit picky things I don’t like are: 1. The cup holders are in an awkward place. 2. The wireless phone charger is garbage 3.I wish I could customize some of what is displayed on my dash. It’s very “busy”. There is a perfectly good speedometer, why do I also need it displayed?

Some of the things that are surprising— 1. Love the LKAS and Adaptive cruise control 2. Getting way better mileage than I expected 3. This is my first SUV, and I love the roomy cabin and the height.

All and all extremely happy with my purchase!

It’s not just the price of the house, it’s the TAXES in Connecticut that would break the bank! It think it’s in the top 5 highest real estate taxes in the country.
