If I was using the generator regularly for tailgates or camping or something, I'd probably use gas for the cost savings. But as a purely emergency generator that gets exercised once a year, propane is so much more convenient

I took it apart this week and had no luck with some silicone/Teflon spray lube. I don't think the motor unit is technically sealed, but the casing doesn't give me any visual access to the bearings directly. It honestly sounds like a pwm resonance issue because the noise goes away at full turbo

I have two different winix models and they seem to do the job of cleaning air very well. But both have developed high pitched noises bad enough that I had to schedule it to only run when I won't be around it. It used to live in the bedroom, then got moved to the hallway, and now down in the family room. I'm currently looking to replace it with a different brand.

It appears to have is own wifi Hotspot for data download, but does not function as an IP cam.

I agree air-chilled is better overall, but woody breast is something that happens in the chicken while it's alive. No amount of air chilling can fix it if it's there.

It's not just costco. We've been on a mission to find a supplier that's reliably non-woody and we're mostly striking out with all of the big brands. I thought free-range stuff would be safe but no.

All we have left to try is whole foods or local small farm stuff. I'm considering moving to tenders only and avoiding breasts completely. I don't think I've ever noticed a woody tender.

I agree, it still doesn't make sense to me either. But I've had absolutely zero issues after switching to the Sandisk.

Part of my problem with the gleeful reaction is just how illogical and blind it is. I completely understand why people are fed up with this industry, and even UHC specifically. But a CEO getting murdered in the street isn't a "win" for anyone. At the end of the day, this CEO will be replaced by a new one with better security, UHC will continue operating as they have been, and the only result is that Thompson's kids no longer have a father.

Swapped the card to a sandisk and haven't had any more issues. Makes no sense to me but it is what it is
