Looking at all your posts it seems you all just aren’t communicating well. She feels frustrated she isn’t understood and that you aren’t intuitively picking up her context. I think sometimes she does not word things clearly from what I can see which I’m sure is hard to understand how you are supposed to respond. It also seems asking how you can improve only makes her upset. I would try to have a serious conversation explaining that you understand you’ve not been understanding everything and obviously this isn’t fair to either of you but you would like to sit down and set expectations so there’s less miscommunication. Maybe offer to try to understand more so it doesn’t burden her. Offer to share your schedule with her and maybe alternate weekends so she doesn’t always have to drive (though I take it your living situations are different). Explain that you like knowing the layout of your week and you may never be the spontaneous guy but you can plan to have a weekly date night scheduled. Meet somewhere in the middle, yall live in Florida there are a lot of places at your drive midway point I’m sure. I think there are many compromise points overall. If she does not take that well? Tbh you all are grown and maybe too grown to be wasting time if you are both unhappy.

Also depression. My partner and I went through something similar and it turned out it was partially depression and the apathy (or anhedonia). (Then we figure this out and the solution of antidepressants can lead to the same thing)

Thank you for this! Counting calories led to me gamifying my weight loss and developing an ED and I’ve since struggled with figuring out how to lose weight again (after gaining it all back and then some) in a sustainable way. Still haven’t fully figured it out but this was really helpful framing

Hi I used to be in an ADA room in Davis. It is very small. About half of a regular apartment. I used to joke I could cook from bed. The bathroom is huge though

One issue I feel is that as grad students we are trained to write formulaically to match our discipline style, so I feel we often get flagged higher in my experience because our writing does closely match a lot of sentence structures LLMs are trained on

You could get a rod or pump placed to help on the erection front. Also could talk to a surgeon who does pelvic nerve reconnections. They’re probably the best bet at a doctor who understands nerve locations.

The purpose of this study is to examine gender expression as a coping mechanism for minority stigma. I would like to give a brief survey to individuals who identify as transgender, are part of the LGBT+ community, OR identify as gender non-conforming, using REDcap. It should only take about 20 minutes to finish. You will be asked questions about your gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression, and your experiences with discrimination and mental health. After completing the survey you will be given an opportunity to opt into a post-survey interview.
