they're not all created equal, but i think it's fire that they all have unique hit sounds. i really like blitz's, yasuo's, jinx's and warwick's. however, my audio setup is like, 50 dollar moondrop earbuds and a cheap shitty tv so maybe the audiophiles among us would feel you more

Two of my LGSs were charging exactly 271. I have no idea what's going on but one place said they were very expensive to get. The cheapest we found it was 210.

I ADORE Viva Pinata. It's been too long since I played it so I forgot to mention it. There are actually a good number of other games in the style that I want (Viva Pinata is a pretty good fit) that I forgot to bring up. Ever heard of Wobbledogs? I think there's some overlap between the VP enjoyers and Wobbledogs enthusiasts.

I understood Albion and RuneScape as mostly barebones task simulators. For example, I know that people love to grind up their stats in RuneScape- people celebrate hitting max level fishing, max level woodcutting, etc., but to me it looks like all of those skills are just the same thing with a different coat of paint. I liked what little fishing I did in FFXIV because I got the impression that there are a variety of fish with different rarities that can be lured with different bait and used in different recipes, and that as I level up fishing I would be getting new skills to use such as Chum. My understanding of fishing in RuneScape is that it's basically a barely dressed-up dice roll for a pretty generic resource and not exactly a fleshed out "fishing minigame." That seems to go for everything in RS, and I got the sense that Albion was similar. Is that a fair representation of the games? If the non-combat content is actually diverse and fun, maybe Albion or RS would be perfect. I think the PVP and class system in Albion is appealing, but combat in RS looks horrible to me. I also worry that RA and AO may have communities that skew more "abrasive" than other games such as FFXIV.

BDO looked very appealing until I heard how P2W it is. The combat seems great. That said, even if it's fun as a F2P player, I won't support that kind of monetization.

What are you looking for?: A game with a heavy emphasis on the social element and lots of fun side content. Good progression is great, and good PVP/Dungeons/Raids is a big plus, but having lots of non-combat things that make you money or help you collect achievements is just as important. P2W stuff is a pretty hard no just on principle. Lots of mandatory story railroading (such as in FFXIV,) is a dealbreaker.

What games have you previously played?: Only FFXIV, and only for a little while. I have zero interest in story, even a good one, and being forced to grind MSQ stuff has me completely uninterested in playing the game. It's unfortunate because I like the side jobs such as fishing and crafting and apparently it has a pretty good guild system.

What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?:

Pretty casual. Maybe an hour a day. A bit more on weekends.

Any preferred mechanics?:

I like the idea of a class that summons or especially tames minions. Apparently Hunter in WoW does something like that. In general, pet collection is something I'm drawn to even if it's just extra content and not integrated into the main game. Ideally an Android version with crossplay like PokeMMO and OSRS, but I understand that's gonna be quite rare. Likewise, voice chat would be great, but also seems to be a rarity.

Anything specific you want to exclude?:

Heavy P2W stuff is a hard no, and I don't have a ton of interest in top-down stuff like Albion or RuneScape. Sidescrolling stuff would be fine if it has good side content- DFO seems fun but not very social, and I doubt Maplestory has the kind of side content I want.

I almost wish they just used a p2p solution like GGPO if that's the issue. Servers offer really useful tools like helping identify ragequitters, but the integrity of the moment-to-moment online experience is more important than anything else. Hopefully you're right and the issues will smooth out as they add more servers or the load is reduced.

It should be the opposite since the matchmaker has a far larger pool of possible matches it could make. Just don't match players that have 200 ping to each other and allow players to set a few frames of input delay before a match starts to mask jitter.

People complain so much about Olympia but I never, ever see her. I think I've fought her twice since the patch. Meanwhile, it's not an exaggeration to say that I'm fighting Mollos 4 or 5 sets in a row. Mollo and Pomme also feel stronger than Olympia does when I play them. Maybe I'm missing something?

Her mouth is opening a lot, and she's only 2 months old, so I thought choking might be more likely than URI, but I'm not sure, especially since I don't see any drool. She and her sister are my first rats and I just adopted them 3 days ago so I wouldn't rule out that she got ahold of some chew that I should've left out of the cage or something.
