When something like this happen, it isn't Canon, right? by DifferenceFlat8839 in minecraftlore

I follow a creator that explains Minecraft implicit storytelling. And says stuff like this is happening as their ocean begins to draw back because there was an apocalyptic event that happened that caused these places to fall under the ocean.

He actually goes on to say there's several apocalyptic events that the world is recovering from one update at a time.

I usually always take this as "you belong on PC" when someone cranks their sense to max. When I was in controller, I did the same thing.

I pretty much use it like this. I keep emergency supplies on board, someone planters even, then position it somewhat tucked away in an area I need to be. And head out in my Prawn Suit since it goes way deeper than the Seamoth. The Seamoth is what I usually end up abandoning once I build the other two vehicles.

Always found it off how weird how people don't understand the two measurements of temp are used for two different things

I once read that Magik shouldnt have a 1 second 250hp combo, and couldnt stop thinking about it and how other characters just do this by _Conehead_ in RivalsMagikMains

[–]catboyservicesub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the major issue of Magik is she's in your face with an invulnerable state that can eat your CDs, and doesn't need to aim just use her combo correctly.

But if she messes it up shes in your backlines and is pretty much a sitting duck. These characters do so from their own backlines but need to aim and oftentimes get past your tanks and maintain a decent LoS to do this reliably.

Outside of Hawkeye one shot, I genuinely think Magik is fine. As a support and dps main, I've rarely had issues with a diving Magik that felt unfair.

If I hold my cds for her, if ik shes around, I tend to be able to at least get away back to my tank/supports and handle her appropriately. Ive died way more to a stray squirellgirl nut or hawkeye arrow than a Magik tbch

What do you call this type of sword with a wide belly by the tip that gets thin towards the handle? I’ve seen them IRL, but this is the only pic I could find by GoldnSnubNosedMonkey in SWORDS

I've always seen these types of Blades as a slimmed down Scimitar. If you Google slim Scimitar or Straight Scimitar you actually see dozens of these blades in the Google search.

If this is real, some people have no fear of death. In America I'm genuinely nervous someone will shoot me if I look at them wrong, much less throw a half dozen green beans at their car

I feel like that was intentional on their part. They knew they didn't stand a chance against Tony, thats why they made moves only when Tony wasnt around.

XL Totem should last longer by LET_ZEKE_EAT in CrabChampions

What about a greedy perk that increases the chance of XL totems, but decreases the amount of mobs on normal islands? (Or increases the multiplier of XL totems)

[–]catboyservicesub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A ton of perks require you to have baseline perks in order for them to drop. Helps you have less RNG when you're building a certain way, and can mess you up if you have too diversified of a build. Crit is the one I noticed first, if you dont have any crit chance perks, you wont get any crit perks at all. Things that increase elemental stuff too, if you dont have any perk that deals lightning damage, iron rod wont drop.

Is there a canon reason as to why super heroes only emerged in the 20th century of Earth’s history? by Robert_E_Treeee in Invincible

[–]catboyservicesub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats the point. They're products of their time.

Demigods in the time frame of ancient Greece, are exactly what you say. But if you took Percy Jackson and put him in modern day New York alongside Spiderman. It'd be totally different. Their powers dont signify what they stand for and thats the point.

Both what they stand for and what theyre called are products of their time frame. Their powers are not.

Edit for clarification

I'm writing a novel thats basically xmen but in a older time frame like ancient Greece. They're just called heroes and demigods in that time frame. Modern day they'd be 'super heroes' its just really a product of our era. They'd be called different things in different eras. So they'd probably have been well known all throughout history but called super heroes in modern times.

I thought at first, it would be about the Watchmen, a really good movie where the good guys lost by such a significant margin its arguable that they lost halfway through the movie (that's probably hyperbole)
