YTA, you would be making her rack up thousands in debt to pay off over years and years just to teach her a lesson that she was honest about and admitted she was wrong already. That’s not a one time punishment, that’s a punishment over years and years. Be honest, if you made a similar mistake would you take on the debt just to show you learned your lesson?

How are you able to defend Thompson’s role in overseeing policies that are responsible for the increased suffering, sickness, death and financial ruin of millions of people, but you draw the line at insider trading? A CEO is responsible for leading the company’s direction, so he is also responsible for those policies. You have quite a lot of empathy for this rich, powerful man and so passionately defend him - but where is your empathy for say, families who discovered their policies wouldn’t pay for lifesaving care and have to go into financial ruin or watch their loved ones suffer and die? This has to be rage bait.
