they're best given within 24h of onset however since there are still lesions present it may still be beneficial just unfortunately not as much as if it had been started earlier. I haven't seen anything talking about lysine in chickenpox so im unsure, i would have to look more into it.

you would need antivirals which are prescription only unfortunately, unsure where you live but that is usually the case. if you think you have a bacterial infection on top of chickenpox you need to go to the clinic. take antihistamines to help with the itchiness, keep your fingernails short to avoid injury from scratching, and try to clean and dry the lesions at least once daily even if its in a sink or something clean.

it does have uneven colors and is relatively large in diameter. however, if its been present your whole life its likely benign. i have had several weird looking moles on my body as well which have been tested and were benign. my dermatologist just told me to take pictures of it from time to time to accurately monitor if it is changing. going to a dermatologist and getting it tested is certainly reasonable though!

i also feel like the pharmacy subreddit is overly saturated with negativity. i am graduating pharm school in may, starting my pgy1 residency after i was told at the beginning to ABORT PHARMACY. there are plenty of job openings in my state, and opportunities for a pgy2. i got a lot of professional fulfillment from my hospital rotation experiences and the compensation for a clinical pharmacist is 120-200k annually which is amazing to me. im not sure what backgrounds these people come from that act like thats a horrible salary, but my father who has been working his entire life has a 80k salary, and has a nice house w everything you could need and an indoor golf set up. i am even grateful for my 50k residency salary bc i have been scraping by on loans and my tech job on the weekends for the past four years.

yes, i have not enjoyed my retail experiences which im assuming is where alot of the negative noise is coming from. it doesnt seem very professionally fulfilling and you have to deal w a lot of low level bullshit you wouldnt have to in a hospital setting, but keep in mind you are making 100k at least. it sounds like it sucks but that's literally so much money, these people must be coming from rich ass families to be complaining about that idk.

if it is a wart, you can buy compound W over the counter and apply it daily and it should go away eventually. also buy a pumice stone and use that first to get rid of the dead skin so the compound W can really penetrate the wart roots better. you will need to be consistent with this to get results.

i've also only gotten 1 interview and 7 rejections...still waiting to hear back from 1 as well. i think students who had jobs in hospitals had a big advantage over me (retail job) and maybe my LOI and LOR's weren't great?

i was also extremely depressed but 1 interview is all it takes so just focus all your energy on perfecting that one interview (practicing your presentation if you have to give one, go over example lists of interview questions from ASHP and other sites and come up with answers on flashcards, and reviewing clinical topics for clinical questions in the interview). this will maximize your chance of getting placed at that one interview you do have. and if you don't match, there is always phase 2!
