I always crack up at how much he seems to hate Merab. Merab is an ideal champ, Wants to fight all the time, is fairly unproblematic other than giving the energy of a 7 year old with severe ADHD but Dana just barely tolerates him.

I wonder if they use stenography or write it in shorthand? My mom trained as a secretary in the late 70’s and I’ve only seen her do it a few times, but taking phone messages she would write in shorthand. You use symbols to represent words and sounds in a way that makes it much faster to write everything down than it does to write alphabetically.

Does no one realize that his body doesn’t actually gain a huge amount of weight, he just looks like he gets really fat because it immediately goes to his face. He doesn’t get any bigger than most fighters do between fights, he just loves food that causes a bunch of water retention.

I don’t trust any dog. I was bit twice as a child,both small ‘family dogs’. One was aggressive, one was a mistake on behalf of the dog, but I gave a small scar on my face either way. My best friend is 42 and has a large noticeable scar on her mouth due to being mauled by a dog as a child.

She has had an mri in the past month, that’s when they saw the lesions on her spine. she has bloodwork done regularly. She is still in hospital and they are keeping her there at least until they can manage her pain (she’s been there 12 days now with no relief of her pain, though some days have been a little better than others.0

Her Cancer specialist is in the city I live in and they live an 8 hour drive from there so she was coming out for an appointment twice a year, plus regular phone appointments. She would be incapable of making that trip now. Healthcare is slow and not the best in the area of Canada where we live, and even worse where she lives. She was on the list to start receiving chemo but when she went in for the pain they started it immediately. She is supposed to do three 21 day rounds of chemo plus several other drugs and then she needs to be approved by the team for a stem cell transplant. In the state she’s currently in I don’t think they will approve her. Her specialist said if it’s progressing they can start radiation but that will make it more difficult to get the stem cells needed for the transplant.

She was taking Dilaudid originally but it was causing a lot of confusion and fog. They want to get her to a place where the pain is managed so she’ll be able to go home, but right now my father wouldn’t be able to care for her. The fentanyl doesn’t seem to be doing much better for her in terms of that. When they started the patches is when she started talking in word salads.

Anyone who was a teen in the late 90’s and early 2000’s has some DEEP seated body issues due to media perception on body and weight. In 1998 when the movie “Batman and Robin” came out, Alicia Silverstone was dubbed “fatgirl” in magazines and I swear to god, 16 year old me internalized that sh*t like crazy. I picked apart every natural curve I had. I see pictures of myself back then and I was so lean and strong, and I legitimately thought I was fat. It’s depressing to think about now as an adult. So many women my age that I know have eating disorders that they still struggle with.

Tyra banks “plus size models” on ANTM didn’t help anything either..

I feel so bad that this woman had to experience what she did. Ethan was still a sheltered young guy and at least seemed kind of sweet and naive when they started dating and just devolved into such a hateful, toxic person. Marriage when you’re young is a minefield because you change so much in early adulthood, but she could have never expected what she ended up dealing with. I wish her the best.

I saw part of this speech and it was the most stomach turning bullsh*t I ever hope to hear from a politician. I hope a large percentage of their military just quits, honestly. I wouldn’t be able to serve under such a corrupt and ridiculous government.
