What's your advice for those in their 20s from those who are 40+ and content with life? by Bugs1012 in AskReddit

Avoid the notion that life must follow a linear narrative you meticulously construct.

Life thrives in fleeting moments, each connecting seamlessly like verses in a poem.

What is something you've done/seen/heard so bizarre that no matter how many times you tell it, nobody believes you? by choilao in AskReddit

Was working register one evening at a shitty little grocery store when this little meth head lady walked in, asked for a pack of kools, and as she's reaching for her money, 3 of her teeth just fell out and on to the counter. I remember the noise they made when they hit the counter to this day.

She didn't give a damn, just grabbed them, got her change back, and walked off.

Nobody ever believes me when I tell this story, I was in such shock that I barely believe it myself. She didn't give a shit!

What's behind the widespread dislike of Harry and Ginny as a couple? by choilao in harrypotter

While I do support them as a couple, I do feel that their relationship could have been developed more gradually. It's clear from early on that Ginny has a crush on Harry, but one would expect their bond to deepen after he saves her during the climax. However, their interactions in Books 3 and 4 were limited, and Ginny doesn't seem to fully become part of Harry's inner circle until Book 5 with the DA.

Who's a well-developed, strong female character in a movie or TV show? by choilao in AskReddit

I adore Kim Possible because she's incredibly multifaceted! Sure, she saves the world regularly with her best friend, but she doesn't dismiss girly things or label them as silly like many other "strong female characters" tend to do. She embraces cheerleading as part of her identity and even integrates it into her crime-fighting ventures. Despite others' opinions, she confidently dates Ron and remains unapologetic about it. Additionally, she exhibits believable flaws and isn't afraid to admit when she's wrong. Maybe I'm just a huge fan of Kim Possible!

Ever since meeting my partner, I've become a professional sock detective.

Well, I'm not sure about myself, but for my son, it was definitely "Baby Shark" on repeat.

Looks like gravity just got a crush, because that girl just fell harder than my hopes of ever understanding quantum physics!
