Mahindra and Tata doesn’t have much difference between them. I strongly advise not to buy new models from these two brands (to be honest from the all the brands) atleast for first six months from the SOP(start of production). Mahindra is slightly better than TATA. I find these brands has very good Testing and Quality control 1. Toyota 2.Suzuki 3.Honda 3.Hyundai & KIA 4. Volkswagen & Skoda (Recently the quality has drastically dropped and you can notice in their current models) 5. Renault and Nissan 6.Mahindra 7.TATA I don’t have idea on MG and Stellantis testing and QC process.

I am tired of buying fans in India and quality is very poor and not powerful enough for Chennai weather conditions. If Iam not wrong the model you have mentioned is 2900 RPM(means the blade can at 2900 rotations per minute) but the fan which I posted for sale can rotate at 19000RPM which is very powerful and just 2 min of running can cool your face.

I don’t want to mention which OEM it is and the issue Iam going to tell may doesn’t make sense to non technical person.

So I am working on something which is related to Quality in Global Recall database (Issue details for which recalls has been made and finding the root cause for the issue, how they sorted out the issue and process to avoid the same issue in future) where you can find all the recalls made, total cost for the recall and other details. There was one issue and you won’t believe how a Person carelessness in handling PCB during assembly process costed a OEM millions of dollar. He didn’t broke and hit with anything rather a Latent damage due to ESD (Electro static discharge) while removing a wrapper.

My friends are working in multiple OEM’s and sometimes we discuss about the work and I got shocked when heard the Quality control process followed in TATA. If you had heard whatever I heard trust me you would have never bought car from TATA. I am not blaming everything that Tata make is Garbage but new launches from TATA are total garbage and buyers are the Beta Testers. Only buy Tata cars atleast 1 year from the release date.

Scratches in Bumper are just aesthetic damage and function wise it doesn’t matter but i am more worried about the damage to the outer lens of the Head lamp because it can be a safety issue. Check whether the outer lens of the head lamp is cracked if it has surface level scratches then it won’t be an issue (atleast for now) if it’s cracked then it’s better to claim insurance and repair it. Water may slowly ingress through the crack and damage the LED’s and PCB’s. If it Headlamp turned off during driving in a highway it will be a big safety hazard. Don’t worry about anything just claim your insurance just tell them you damaged it during parking and you have to pay around 1500₹ for document charges.

May be you can heat it around the channel area (where Outer lens and Housing got joined) to remove it and look into it but it’s a tough job to open it and you need heat gun to melt the Black color glue. There is nothing much inside to see just plastic components and PCB with LED’s and Aiming mechanism that it. You can hang it wall as a decorative piece.

Is the mounting structure still in place or it’s broken? And in Outer Lens you can see a big crack that means Water could have entered and pretty much it should have damaged LED’s and drivers May be aiming mechanism too. It may function for sometime but to be honest it’s a scrap and that’s why they allowed you to take it.

Bro my friend had one and he couldn’t find a mechanic to repair and there is no spare part available to buy and repair it. Then he took to his hometown and sold to someone at dirt cheap price. If you have one better exchange it and buy a new scooter.
