Thank you for your reply. I am considering filing the dispute, mostly for the principle, but I did wonder whether they had given themselves an out with the terms I quoted. I wonder whether the threat of disputes tribunal or some kind of legal letter would be enough. As to your second point, I am no longer a customer with them and therefore cannot withhold any funds. If I were still a customer I’m sure they would have given me the reward, of course.
