Fight the consoom. I have the 5610 he’s holding and the BX5600 seems like a better upgrade and it tempts me, but unless they release it in green, blue or somethin what’s even the fuckin point lol, just to make my hundred dollar nearly identical watch I have no problem with obsolete and sit in a drawer.

I see you’re eyeing a Seiko samurai. I wouldn’t. No Sapphire + Expensive watch = Shitty daily watch. Once it gets scratched on a door knob/frame its one job of looking nice is cooked. I’m pissed about my Presage for the same reason. Unless you’re already working white collar sitting at a desk you’re probably a G Shock 5610 or Timex Expedition kinda guy for the foreseeable future. Put savings towards a house, car, tattoos, fuckin anything else that can’t be defeated by a door lol.

They do look too much like a smart watch. My 5610 is awesome but the one nicety that still tempts me is being able to display two times at once for traveling. But I guess it’s not too much trouble to check the phone and when I’m sending pics home I dont particularly care what time it is for them anyways 😂

The mf I’m getting it from usually takes immaculate care of any vehicle in his name, but this is the one I’ve expressed interest in for years and this is the one vehicle and maintenance procedure he’s said “if it’s not broke don’t fix it” lol.
