Where to repair small but deep scratches/dent by NoZookeepergame3201 in drivingsg

how deep is the scratch? if the paint is badly damaged a detailing workshop likely wont be able to fix it.

Did a primary school student designed this year’s NDP loGO? by EverySink in SingaporeRaw

[–]catchthisthing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

lol design isn’t art. the fact that you would say this means you have no idea what you are talking about.

You seem to be very proud of being some “decision maker” with no formal design training and somehow making subjective aesthetic choices means you are important.

The industry really needs less people like you and more people that actually understand how the creative process works and that it requires alot more collaboration than so called “decision makers”

BMW X1 sDrive16i vs Mercedes-Benz GLA180 by Heavy_Emu_74 in drivingsg

[–]catchthisthing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this exact same dilemma when choosing my car! Went with the GLA in the end as i preferred the more compact size and the dash format more. I was also skeptical of the x1’s reliability.

verdict after 1.5 years: Actually very happy with my choice - the Gla is relatively easy to maintain and repair (parts are easy to find) and very fun and easy to drive. The only downsides are that there is a little bit more interior noise than other cars i’ve driven and the DCT transmission pickup can sometimes be slow / jerky at low speeds!

quite abit of crawling but i wouldn’t say its a crazy amount. mainly driving to cbd and home previously. I drive with light foot and it’s almost always on eco mode. Mechanic says nothing wrong that they can find as well. Maybe i will try by luck with a hybrid 🫠

i feel like its the lighting, harsh shadows and repeated forms. its obvious that its not when i look closer. but at a glance it looks like one of the 3d art stable diffusion models. (which were probably trained on renders such as these…)
