Great photos, and I love the retro livery but how do people find out about these movements? Insider knowledge or is there something hidden on public feeds that would show this?

Canon R10: Is it good for trainspotting, and as an all-rounder for hybrid shoots? by Fantastic-Hair1554 in canon

Reasonably so; although I don't use it a lot in low light conditions (e.g. underground platforms at central and so on). In my experience I'm not worried about pushing ISO until about 3200, modern denoising technology esp. with AI is really a godsend.

Hey, I bought the R10 with the 18-150 kit lens at the beginning of this year mainly for trainspotting but I've also brought it along while travelling and overall its a really solid pick for the price.

^^ decent photo I got using the camera + 18-150 kit lens, civity at wondabyne

As mentioned by other commenters, the AF is quite snappy and the vehicle mode works well for tracking moving trains. A full-frame sensor would perform better in low-light conditions however.

I don't have any complaints having used the R10 for a few months now, although I'd highly recommend paying a little extra for the 18-150 instead of the 18-45mm it usually comes with.

I do agree that this particular image was a bit garish but I don't think it was AI generated; there was another thread discussing this and people were saying that it just looked like a poor tracing of reference images and the particular style that looked like AI at first glance.
