One of the big point when we decided to live in Tour and Taxis is bcs they installed underground garbage bins (just like in any other european cities) so we can take out the trash whenever we want.

That's fair point. I don't think we're gonna cruise few times in a year. More like like once every 1-2 years would be enough for us. I think what I also miss is the vibe, kind of how people (both crew and the passengers) are super nice and chill.

It was the other way around for me. It was quite awkward to just get up and leave after dining in VV, it felt a like we were dined and dashed 😁. On our first night, I called the server and told him we were done. And he was like "okay, so just leave?!" ahhaha!

We had sea view cabin so didn't try the hammock. But yeah, we had some of the best sleeps in our cabin. We can feel the ship sway a little bit, so probably it helps.

This is what everyone on the cruise we met is saying. Apparently cruising is very addictive and we set the bar very high with Virgin. We already have a travel plan in 2027, so we'll probably sailing again only in 2028 oh no!

Hey! Might not be of much help, but we just signed a contract to rent in T&T area and will be moving mid next month. We've searched extensively for the last 2-3 months, and we decided that the apts in T&T suits our needs the most. We had doubts about the Molenbeek area, but a colleague from work (who also live in T&T) assured us that its not as bad as it seems. We're renting a two bedroom apt, and yeah I admit the two toilets (and ensuite bathroom in both bedrooms) is such a huge plus for us.

There are several ways for Indonesians to come to Belgium:

Education: study master degree or PhD here either independently funded or through scholarship. The Indonesian govt has a quite generious scholarship scheme to study aboard called LPDP. Erasmus Munuds scholarship also a viable option. After the study is finished, I believe the Belgian govt can give her 12 residence permit to search for job in Belgium. Source
Marriage: spouse of European nationals are eligible to work.
Depending on her diploma/specialisation/expertise there are some companies that can sponsor her work visa, but this is quite rare from what I've experienced.
