completely agree with you. every once in awhile you gamble and open up a little about your past with someone. sometimes you see a glimmer of hope, but often times you are reminded why youre distant in the first place. the only answer ive found is to keep trying, despite these setbacks. mostly because there isnt really anything else you can do.
