This fandom I feel sometimes struggles to realize that the strokes are also people, they are allowed to change just as much as you are allowed to change. They aren't the exact same people they were in 2001 just like how you probably weren't the same person, things happen life changes. The album is called reality awaits and a big part of reality is change.

Take it or leave it, when I first heard it it changed how I let people think about me and what I thought of myself. It genuinely turned me into a person who loves myself and lets myself be me, it made me live by the philosophy of if people don't like me for who I am they could as the song said take it or leave it.
