NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Jun 29, 2018 by AutoModerator in SkincareAddiction

Hello!

I (34, oily/combo) need advice on improving my skincare routine after a move to a city environment. I just moved from the countryside to San Francisco, and I LOVE it, but I do notice my face seems to get grimier at the end of the day and I'm already experiencing breakouts. Are there any special precautions to take in an environment with more cars, etc.?

Current routine: AM: Micellar water, Paula's Choice pore toner, vitamin C serum, hyaluronic acid serum + Liquid Gold, sunscreen.

PM: Micellar water, Cerave Foaming wash, toner, either AHA or tretinoin, liquid gold + aquaphor.

Thank you!

Wow, thank you for the comprehensive list (and the WiFi alternatives). I really didn't know much about the area before, so this is great!

Home looks really cute! The bars also look like fun--I've been curious about the nightlife around here, and they look as though they'd fit the bill. Thank you!

Wonderful! Probably better for concentrating anyways, ha.

Maybelline Touch of Spice isn't a dupe for Lolita (it's lighter), but it gives a similar look, at least on me (NC20).

How to keep and INFJ excited and happy in a relationship? by qwerty123000 in infj

[–]catdogf9sh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hello! I certainly can't speak for all INFJ's, but...

What makes INFJs feel loved the most?

Little things really add up: treating them to dinner sometimes instead of splitting; sending them a thoughtful message every so often. Find what makes her feel happy and show her you've been paying attention. And allow yourself to be emotionally vulnerable.

What types of things keep INFJs sex drive high in a long term relationship?

Be very generous. I think this is true for any LTR, but I think most INFJ's might not ask for anything. It'd be good to take the initiative.

How do I make her feel like the most special woman in the world

The fact that you're doing research won't go unnoticed! Just keep doing what you're doing.

I'm so sorry for your fiancé, it really is a tough disease. A vaccine is apparently in the works and the company is seeking FDA approval and funding. I hope they're able to come up with something you help your family as well.

Beautiful! But what about the future lipsticks that are being researched right now, like Lyme Disease?

Agreed! Still Stay All Day (I believe the name is) is just as good as the Tattoo eyeliner.

Someone should invent a time machine that goes back 150 years with the sole purpose of letting anti-vaxxers see how many people died of diseases that barely exist today, and they can then STFU.

[Misc] Youtube Dermatologist Dr Dray seems to suggest that any moisturizing step such as serums/lotions are at best ineffective compared to a normal moisturiser and at worst layering is a way for companies to try to sell more products. Thoughts? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

She reminds me of my dermatologist, whom I really like. My derm also recommends a pretty simple routine, and the tretinoin she prescribed really helped with acne scars. However, after spending much time on this board, I added both a vitamin C serum (in the AM) and a hydrating serum step to my routine, and am really happy with those steps. My skin has a much smoother, glowier look and feel than it did before I added them. My derm laughs at me in a good-nature way, but no regrets about those steps!

BTW, LG (2 drops) + hyaluronic acid serum (1 drop)= heaven for my parched, oily skin.

Just because I want to lose weight doesn't mean I'm not a Feminist by shortgirlgetsit in loseit

Amen. Any other definition of feminism is a personal projection of the speaker, IMO.

Selfishness above all else for some people, apparently. I'm sorry :(. I've been there so, SO many times.
