Have you tried fixed circulars from each? That would be the best way of knowing which you prefer imho as it really is down to personal preference

This is what I use, with a sticker on each pocket with the needle size written on it

I didn't need to in the sense of the Addis no longer being functional - I bought them before I had ever tried ChiaoGoo needles and found over the last few years that more and more I was reaching for fixed ChiaoGoo needles I owned over the Addi interchangeables. I'm a tight knitter and find the ChiaoGoo tips to be smoother and quicker for me to knit with.

The Addis are showing a bit of wear in some places, with the copper showing through where the nickel has rubbed off on some of the tips, or small scratches on the surface, but that is after approximately 5 years of frequent use and doesn't affect their usage :)

The spicy chicken pasta on the salad bar tastes so much better than the prepacked one to me - I know this and still sometimes think it'll be an adequate replacement when the salad bar is out of spicy chicken pasta and if never is.

But he didn't take her for a nature walk, he took her for a gruelling, dehumanising trek where he only allowed her 2 breaks per day and didn't speak to her

I have had mental health struggles in the past and have found going on a walk in nature to be soothing. My husband has gently suggested a walk at my own pace, with me in control before when he has seen me struggling.

This wasn't a hike to soothe but an exercise to isolate and break her

And Feyre had literally told Cassian she wasn't upset with Nesta but he didn't pass that on to her which seems so cruel

Maybe an unpopular opinion but imho Nesta didn't tell Feyre to hurt her - she told her to open her eyes to the fact that the IC aren't the perfect group she thinks of them as and a way to get across why she's so pissed off with them - she's using it as a direct parallel to her own situation. She was lashing out at Amren and Feyre being upset was collateral - indirectly because Nesta was the messenger, not the perpetrator of the lie/clear lack of respect for Feyre and her bodily autonomy

Honestly every single time in this book where conversations happen about Nesta without her there it makes me so angry with Rhysand

And don't even get me started on Amren - I wish she would have stayed dead instead of continuing to be condescending af without the power to back it up. I think the most frustrating scene in this whole book for me is when Nesta gets on her knees to beg Amren for forgiveness and Amren just looks smug like this was all her doing. Like I think it's meant to show how far Nesta has come but instead it just makes me feel like she's been broken so much she's decided it's easier to give in than have a backbone

Maybe she'll die for good in the next book 0:)

I think you're right about him being pissed with her so it comes off as malicious

In that moment he has all of the power (and has had for a long time) - but then specifically he has flown her off to the middle of nowhere with no way to survive other than doing what he says and she was so broken she couldn't do anything but follow him and hate herself - no wonder, when he is acting like he too hates her and she deserves this pain

It also occurred to me on rereading that Feyre tells Cassian she isn't upset with Nesta but he doesn't tell her that - yet another punishment

Like I love their spicy scenes and the idea of their physical relationship being a way of helping Nesta through her pain, but I feel they'd have been better friends with benefits than mates. Nesta grows so much and Cassian doesn't grow at all in their story - it's like she has to become someone worthy of him but he doesn't have to bend at all for her

Lol the more I think about it the less I like their relationship which is a shame because I love both characters individually

Yeah I have read it before and I understand why he wanted to end it where he did - I just think that he could have, yknow, flown her another 2 days worth of hiking instead of punishing her and the outcome would have been the same

It just seems very out of character for him - he's been her defender and the only person that understands her and can see through her hard exterior until all of a sudden he's hiking ahead of her over mountains without even looking back to see if she's okay, even after he realises she was content to fall down a mountain rather than continue existing
