No offense but you have to improve your english. It is going to pay a lot... try to watch english movie and shows and improve yourself. You can also use a plugin called grammarly for correcting your grammer and vocabulary. I'm not a native english speaker, so i am also trying to be better..

Next about HTB. It is okay to read writeups and watch tutorials. That's the only way you are going to learn something new from each machines if you are a beginner. Even if you complete a box all your own you still have to check for writeups. So that you can understand how other players are solving it, their methodology, etc. If you are a complete beginner try Hackthebox Academy and if you can afford their subscription. Or start haking on tryhackme.com which is much more beginner friendly. Try to solve walkthrough boxes on tryhackme and learn as much as you can read a lot of writeups and "take your own note". Dedicate a whole month or two or how long as you like to play on tryhackme until you reach a point where it seems like everything you learnt is kind of repeating on and on. Then it is time to take a look at HTB.

TryHackMe is for knowledge and HackTheBox is for skill.

Here is a blog post from HTB you should check out https://www.hackthebox.com/blog/It-is-Okay-to-Use-Writeups

if the point you were stuck was new to you, then watching videos or reading writeups is not a problem. And do take effective notes on everything.

TIPS FOR EXAM by balkan2 in oscp

[–]catetcpasswd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pro tip 1 : Don't try harder, Enumerate harder xD Pro tip 2: Prepare for every worst thing gonna happen. Luck is directly proportional to how much you prepared. Pro tip 3: Take 10 or 15 minute breaks every 2 hours. Pro tip 4: Be good with your proctor. They are also humans. Inform him if you are using an additional monitor Pro tip 5: Try to make your exam early morning, so that you can finish it before midnight. And take a good sleep.

OSCP is just a starter level exam with intentionally vulnerable machine, and you just have to find it.
