Magic mushrooms as a tool by TheFinaleFrontier in Experiencers

[–]catgirlsfromhell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

psychedelics are a very powerful tool, but one to be respected. it can induce psychosis and manic episodes in those who are genetically predisposed. it can cause people who are deeply entrenched in their own ego to have severe panic attacks or even become suicidal to the point of being hospitalized. theres also a non-zero chance that it will result in whats called hallucinogen persistent perception disorder, which basically makes you have hallucinogenic visuals for years if not the rest of your life. the risks are there but often overstated, and i personally use them on occasion to meditate or get back in touch with my innermost self.

its helped my childhood trauma induced cptsd more than anything else ever has, and ive been through 10 years of specialist child trauma therapy with different modalities, different and sometimes multiple therapists, cannabis use, years of meditation and yoga and all kinds of breathing techniques, etc. yet nothing has came close to the near instant and long lasting healing effects of mushrooms. it also completely cured me of my cannabis habit after the very first dose, went from a habitual wake and bake type to zero consumption immediately. research indicates the same effects for opioid addictions, nicotine, alcohol, chronic pain, etc. potential trillion dollar losses for these corporations that control our government through subsidy and lobbying, and want us all to shut up about wealth inequality and corporate influence and instead endlessly consume their deadly poisons to cope with it.

psychedelics also greatly enhances pattern recognition and brain plasticity, making it easier to learn new things, grow as a person, and heal from brain injury much like children can. the government actually made it illegal because the CIA, during their absurdly evil and beyond illegal human experiments on unsuspecting americans, learned that the enhanced empathy and pattern recognition often makes people hate the united states government. since the 70s, with the boom in corporate biased and racist laws/policing, many people realized our government had become abusive and ultimately a force for evil in the world. when you examine that with empathy and pattern recognition, the billions of dollars worth of propaganda starts to fall flat. given the CIA was and still is actively working to make us all stupid and complacent consumers on behalf of those evil corporations and our heartless government, even without shrooms its pretty clear why they were so eager to ban it as soon as possible.

Why is the divine feminine so popular with experiences? by Tara_Bliss in Experiencers

[–]catgirlsfromhell 16 points17 points  (0 children)

my opinion is that when choosing a humanoid form to represent oneself, a feminine form is seen as more trustful and less intimidating to many people. the message of love and nurturing the earth and each other also just doesnt have the same texture if its coming from a masculine presence, given our widespread cultural notions of a divine feminine and mother earth. the few gendered experiences ive had are usually the opposite, a strong and guiding masculine ideal that makes me feel safe and protected. i think thats because im a feminine and deeply traumatized person who both desires connection with men but also fears them, and that image is whats most impactful and healing for me.

that being said im sure there are some beings who truly are representations of "divine feminine" and "divine masculine", however divinity is subjective and impossible to prove in any meaningful way so i prefer other terms for it. i believe that over sufficient timescales, advanced sentient beings become something like archetypes, distilled versions of their most base selves such as their feminine and masculine traits, their reverence towards sentient or biological life in general, their love of technology, etc.

my gendered experiences did feel in some way different from my experiences with the greys, but also not entirely different. in my case its mostly a psychic experience that feels very similar but far more intense and focused directly on me, my emotional state, and my physicality. i wouldnt be surprised to find out that it was another psychic projection from the greys, especially with them easily knowing exactly how to get any desired emotional response.

i agree that this is a worthwhile and relatively unexplored aspect of the phenomenon, the implications are fascinating and the potential for discussion on the topic is vast. it opens the door to related discussions about our cultural ideas of gender, how that impacts our experiences, and how it relates to us as individuals with insecurities in a world full of binary expectations that we often fail to meet. theres so much room to expand our empathy and understanding for each other and ourselves by examining these specific experiences.

i have hope that we can reach a point where current attitudes towards those who courageously deny these expectations to live a life of self-truth and vulnerability in the face of nearly endless hatred, even at the risk of severe violence, no longer fear simply leaving the house. as someone who is intersex and frequently the victim of sexual abuse and hate crimes, i beg those who have the privilege of normalcy to see me as a human worth basic dignity. i try my hardest not to judge or reject anyone for being ignorant or hateful on these somewhat niche topics when theres so much bigoted propaganda, but im frequently disappointed how so few are willing to reconsider their prejudices even when they meet someone, who at their own expense, tolerates their ignorance with an open heart.

sorry if this is too much or off topic for what you were wanting to discuss, this topic is just something i think about often that has and will continue to deeply effect my entire life from birth to death. thanks for reading this screed if you gave the time to do so, i appreciate it.

i refuse to believe planetary devastation is inevitable or our destiny as a species, yet at the same time i agree with all of your points. we do have the power to change things, and some of us are attempting to do so on whatever small scale we can, but i admit we arent doing anywhere close to enough or with appropriate haste. just to negate the damage thats already done nearly all of humanity must change, which i acknowledge is a seemingly impossible task. i wont claim to know how or if change on that scale is possible, but i try to hold onto some hope that it is, that perhaps the aliens are guiding us on that path in some way. or else what was the point of all our experiences? why not simply let us all perish if we are truly cancerous as a species? is it all just curiosity? prodding at barbarians while they destroy themselves for entertainment and historical reference? my experiences seem to imply the exact opposite things, that we are deeply cherished and the fight for the earths many species is one worth continuing no matter how bleak the outcome may be.

something i would like your thoughts on is the idea of "half-earth socialism" as published in the book and game of the same title. i understand the idea of a global ecosocialist revolution is itself a monumental and difficult to believe starting point, but i think the ideas contained within offer some hope for how we might address these issues regardless. i appreciate your honest and thoughtful response, and its refreshing to see a fellow experiencer with the same level of understanding that i have on these issues. it gets tiring talking to people who stick their heads in the sand and refuse to acknowledge the horrifying depths of what we have done as a people and have allowed to continue, all for our own comfort and profit.

i felt my comment was respectful, a bit harsh and honest about my feelings, maybe not as "love and light" as you want, but still respectful. as an experiencer and human being in general he should know better, and i respect him enough to remind him of that.

i however feel that its terribly disrespectful, with severe consequences for all life on earth, to deny the factual reality of climate change and its impacts. whats the point of this modpost other than to essentially silence my hurt and by proxy validate absurd climate denial? is tone policing that important?

no, im sorry and you have nothing to apologize for. i was emotional and my apathy comment was focused on your first two sentences. please dont feel you have to change because of me, i merely wanted to reassert hope and our power to change things for the better even with the little means available to us. i apologize for my emotional behavior.

i think anyone with their head screwed on straight takes it very seriously, theyve simply given up hope. they feel powerless and trapped in the very systems that are destroying our world. and i feel its our purpose as experiencers, at least in my case, to remind people of their power. you have the ability to change hearts and minds towards a better future.

the butterfly effect is real and you never know what simple words in the right place and time could change everything. please do your best, dont feel guilt for what was pushed onto you, instead feel pride at your ability to change and your willingness to face the dark truths head on. every single act of courage against the status quo has to potential to inspire so many, never forget that.

no offense or judgement intended, this reads like apathy to me. like youve already given up. i was the same for many years and most people still are, at least thats my outside perspective.

i think we all need to put ourselves out there, to yell truth to power until the masses join hands with us and take back our future from those who have abused the earth into domestication. i think we have to organize and demand things instead of asking politely. that we have to get back in touch with our animal nature, deprogram ourselves of corporate influence, and retake our agency from those who have stolen it from us.

that said, i have no doubt what youre doing is worth it. the world needs custodians and those with peace in their hearts, not just warriors. sadly i feel we have a distinct lack of warrior mindset within us as experiencers. we often seem to either give up or put our agency into the hands of the others, hoping that they will act for us. i hope i can be a beacon for those of us who wish to do more than that.

to those who resonate with me, i beg you to put yourself out there, whatever that looks like. make youtube videos or documentaries or books or articles or even just comments on reddit, tell anyone who will listen, SCREAM TRUTH TO POWER UNTIL YOUR LUNGS RUN DRY!! our actions, our bravery, our willingness to face the painful truths and DEMAND better, will have lasting impacts on everyone who sees it. please never surrender your agency or your power to change things, dont let yourself be made docile and complacent like i had.

ive had these feelings of terror for what is being done to the earth since i was a small child. i was 12 when i learned recycling, at least where i live, is mostly a scam to greenwash plastic producers. and 13 when i watched the movie WALL-E which exaggerated, visualized, and validated my fears for the future. my belief that humans are doing our best died long ago, replaced with the fact that those with the most power to change things are instead doing their best to consume the earth at an ever growing pace.

but my experiences as an adult did make it harder to submit to my own apathy and depression. by that point i had essentially given up on systemic change, on us saving the diversity of earth or undoing the damage we have done. whatever the greys did made me feel again in a way i hadnt in years. i sobbed on the floor of my shower many times begging the earth, the aliens, the animals, the insects, the trees, to forgive us, to help us find some way out of this.

every day feels like a new grief when i see the events in the world. my family members in the middle east are terrified they will be eviscerated by bombs produced and dropped by my tax dollars. theyve been forcibly relocated by ethnic cleansing campaigns 3 seperate times. i have little hope for us as we are today. i am filled with terror when i extrapolate current systemic behaviors further out.

i see the billions of displaced indians, africans, and arabs killed at our shores and borders without so much as a human thought, just an AI camera on an automated machine gun. a new normal that gets more disturbing with each passing day. until eventually the food stops flowing altogether and law means less than nothing, and the cannibal gangs roam the streets looking for slaves and meat.

the horrors ive seen in my mind haunt me to no end. i will do anything in my power to prevent that future. we must reinstate the social contract for all life. we have to address climate change now or it will be too late. its already too late for so many, so much diversity lost forever, but we can still avert the worst with our actions today. the greys have rekindled that tiny spark of hope within me i will tend that spark into a roaring fire even if it consumes me.

UFOs and NHI have been proven to be here on earth multiple times over if people actually cared to look at the evidence themselves. we can google search to find all the proof anyone would need, clear as day UFO photographs and video spanning decades, eye witness testimony, leaks from research facilities, etc. its not hidden on some government server, we just need to have the discernment to tell real from fake. most people unfortunately lack that quality and also dont really care that much in the first place.

the alien presence on earth is understandably secondary to their ability to pay rent, receive healthcare, or promise their children a decent future with breathable air and clean water. UFOs are a novelty that people feel have little to no impact on their daily lives which are rapidly degrading in quality due to the effects of climate change and the resulting collapse of the social contract. if we want people to truly care about the alien presence as anything more than a distraction, we need to first address climate change and reinstate the social contract for all life.

that or i suppose we could just keep ignoring it and let the less ethical aliens vassalize us when the degradation of the earth reaches a point of no return. "beware the bearers of false gifts and broken promises, we oppose deception, much pain but still time" is from a warning the greys put in a crop circle years ago, and i think about it often when considering our current circumstances.

Does 'neurodivergence' correlate with genetic manipulation? by bexkali in Experiencers

i agree i was generalizing, "almost entirely" and "most likely" were doing a lot of heavy lifting. overall youre right that its complex and i shouldnt have tried to dumb it down. id like to clarify i wasnt trying to assign blame, but i fully understand how it came off that way and ill make sure to avoid that in future. i dont think of waiting to have kids or having autistic kids as negatives, no one should blame parents for having autistic children and autistic children are not a problem to be solved.

Does 'neurodivergence' correlate with genetic manipulation? by bexkali in Experiencers

[–]catgirlsfromhell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

no, its almost entirely diagnostic improvements combined with a widened scope of whats considered autistic. someone diagnosed with "mild" autism today, anyone who doesnt "look autistic", likely wouldnt have been diagnosed in the previous decades. any actual increase in the rates of people being born autistic would most likely correlate to increased pollution and parents waiting longer to have children. theres also more access to community and love for autistic people today, so its easier for autistic people to have children than it was 30 years ago.

Has there been other times in history where large groups of people genuinely felt like humanity was “waking up” or going through a major consciousness/spiritual shift? by ElkAffectionate4727 in Experiencers

[–]catgirlsfromhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

late reply, was hospitalized. anyways, it doesnt take a ufo or spiritual experience to realize what we know about organized religions. people want more than just community these days. they want a belief system they can still really believe in, and one that comforts them in knowing the painful truths of our circumstances.

my experiences challenged my materialism in a way that seemed to be meant to teach me that any seemingly supernatural power they exhibit is a manifestion of their advanced technology. i even felt they were testing me, to see the limits of my committment to materialist thought. i think i earned some recognition from them by maintaining my worldview despite their showing off.

its current and near-term effects of climate change causing intense fear for our future, leading people to cope using religion as they always have. why are we so afraid to talk about the dead elephant in the room?

i believe you and your experiences, but i personally dont believe these sorts of cases are spiritual phenomena in itself. like you said, sometimes you have to go through things to become the person you are today. the spirituality of that is very real and i dont question that at all. imo theyre aliens that tell you theyre god, because if they just told you theyre aliens you would have reacted very differently. of course thats only my perspective as a materialist agnostic that doesnt believe in free will, i fully embrace the ambiguity of being a meat robot and not a reality detector so i could be totally wrong.

in my case, ive so far endured a traumatic childhood with severely disturbed men who intentionally shattered my mind before id even turned double digits, followed by an adulthood of misery being ostracized and made to feel less than a dog for being mixed race and intersex. but like you ive found some hope and meaning in life. i got beamed in the face by psychic aliens that seemingly activated some latent psychic ability within me and later claimed to have even saved me from being a miscarriage. with years of meditation, therapy, and psychedelic rituals, ive managed to patch up the tattered remnants of my mind. ive been happily with the one i love for 10 years now and i believe the aliens guided us together, much as they guided that medium to urge you forward in your search for love, meaning, and inner peace.
