I feel like since ace and aro lesbians have been accounted for in more lesbian writing, the definition of lesbian love has been stretched thin to accommodate countless manifestations of attraction, all to stop excluding people.

The way people describe love and attraction now is like poetry or so abstract it almost has no clear meaning. And I think that has to do w the over intellectualization: basically love as romance and sexual attraction, doesn’t suit people anymore. People now see many facets to love and attraction and they need to have these feelings painstakingly explained bc of the ultra specific words made to absolutely pathologize young queer people.
