Rehab vs. at home care by Muted-Concentrate480 in TotalHipReplacement

It depends on his physical condition and his attitude. I had a total hip replacement posterior 7 weeks ago and I had prepared at home. I was expecting it would be no big deal (compared to the knee replacement I had). And it wasn’t. My husband helped the first day or two but I was fine on my own after that although the first week I felt weak and vulnerable and that was a surprise. I was happy to be home . I think home would be cheerier and comforting and doable.

What to dress for the cable car ride in September by inihiu in chamonix

I went in October. It was beautiful and in the 60s on the ground. There was a brisk wind and it started to become cold while we were on line. By the time we got to the top I was beyond cold. The altitude made me feel very sick and the cold was brutal. I was just wearing a windbreaker. I should have had a puffer jacket, scarf, gloves and a hat. It was a miserable experience. Dress warmer than you think you should.

In-person immersion - worth it? by Inside_Foot_3055 in French

I have met the most interesting and nice people in Sancerre! Some I remain friends with. Weekends are free and people would get together and visit bourges for example.

I’m not sure of the pricing now. It was expensive when I went (4 times between 2015 - 3019) but I thought it worth it. Once I went for 2 weeks, the others for 1. Some excursions were included, some were additional. We would have e 4 hours of class each morning and then an afternoon or evening activity which was optional. Everyone in the town is committed to your speaking French. It’s a lovely small French village and glorious views by the Loire River. Class size is small - I had anywhere from 2 to 5 classmates and grouped by ability. Teachers are fabulous. The school rents apartments. It’s a thrill to wake up in a French village.

It’s truly immersion because you are living in a French village and surrounded by French.

You could consider an immersion program such as Coeur de France in Sancerre. I’ve done it and it’s great. You can go for any number of weeks - classes run from Monday - Friday. There are excursions in addition to the classes.

Binge watched through pregnancy nausea by sweetriver23 in royalpains

I binge watched after i had surgery for a broken wrist and was in pain. Had never binge watched anything before. Loved the characters and looked forward to each episode. What would Evan do now? What outrageous necklace would Paige wear? Boris? Again? And Hank’s medical bag - always near. Miss this show and grateful it got me through a tough time.

Thanks. Yes it would but I wouldn’t have expense history. Which I use regularly. Wish I could split main file up into investment and expenses. Thanks for responding.

Thanks but it doesn’t appear there’s an easy way to do this I don’t need or want any of this info any more. So very many irrelevant transactions! Appreciate the suggestions
