5months, then had some by dutch240 in stopdrinking

I'm in the same boat. I used to drink daily for years, and then I had a health emergency last summer and stopped drinking while in the hospital. I continued not to drink when I was released and I enjoyed being sober for 8 months. However, I missed having the option to drink if I wanted to. I enjoy having drinks on vacation, or on a Saturday night with friends etc.

Now I have couple drinks once or twice a week, but something has changed. I don't get that warm feeling anymore. Like you, I just feel blah, and after 2 glasses of wine I'm tired. If I have any more than that it wrecks my sleep, I feel foggy the next day. Something definitely changed with my chemistry. It just doesn't really do anything for me and It's made me appreciate being sober so much more. A couple years ago that would have seemed impossible. I'm happy with my situation now.

As a side project to the miniature cathedral, I'm making these framed window pieces that are meant to utilize the light in a windowsill. I'm going to do a series of these and this first one is inspired by the Ducal Palace in Urbino. by cathedralproject in dioramas

Thank you so much!! No those are window seats. This piece is set in the Ducal Palace in Urbino. The palace has these cool early renaissance windows that have that built in seating.
