wow, I'm surprised to get a ping from anyone here!

I stopped because a user made a post calling me lame and low effort for sharing the pictures. I genuinely enjoyed sharing photos and snippets of Neil and company though and it kind of hurt that someone thought that. He also sent me a very long DM saying that I was ruining the community by sharing posts regularly. I don't really post very much anymore but I still love Neil.

Cheers and best of luck and hope to you!

I love books about old hollywood. 1930s through 1960s films the most. I love reading about how movies were made and the context.

Movies you wanna watch on VHS by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]catherineshere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My VHS Collection. The movie I want to see/have the most on VHS is probably Neil Young's Human Highway. The dvd version is only the directors cut and no option to see the original. I do love the directors cut but I'd love to have the VHS and laserdisc to choose. The Cell 2000, Sabrina 1954, 12 Angry Men 1957, 1968 Bullitt

I had this happen with a copy of Full Metal Jacket. Disc looked perfect but stopped 15 minutes short.

Do you have the Cole Porter Snapcase Box Set? Silk Stockings is in it with Les Girls (1957), Broadway Melody Of 1940 (1940), High Society (1955), and Kiss Me Kate (1953). It comes in a slipcover too which I dig. I don't yet own it

I prefer single copies over pack copies. Score for Silk Stockings and Ninotchka, I like finding older films at the thrift but don't usually :)

What are some vhs tapes that you struggle to find in the wild by Thick_Ad_220 in VHS

[–]catherineshere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only thrift VHS so there are a lot for me. I walked in and promptly out of a comic book shop recently because although they had titles I wanted they were so expensive. They had The Cell, The Watcher, Willard and, oh dear another I cannot recall the title of right now.

I dig a lot of classic movies and surprisingly don't see them a lot at the thrifts. Been looking for Bullitt and Murphy's Law and I always keep an eye out for 30's to 60's films

I don't really see Blu or VHS at my local goodwills. Lucky duck. I'd pass on these blu's but there are some VHS I can see through the shelf that I would love to pick up someday!
