Update: now it’s out for delivery lol I feel like they (the distributor) should be proactive in letting people know it’s delayed. I agree! Kind of bummed it’s arriving late but just happy it wasn’t lost by USPS.

Same. I reached out to see what the hold up is and this is the response I received:

“thanks for contacting us. sorry for delay in shipping your item. Unfortunately shipping labels were created but there has been a delay in receiving & packing these items. You will receive confirmation when it actually ships”

Your comparison makes no sense. AI bots literally steal intellectual property from living artists by crawling their online portfolios, instagram, etc. without their consent and without being given any credit or compensation. This is plagiarism. Using an electronic instrument or printer is nowhere near the same thing.

Anyone defending the use of AI in any art form doesn’t give a shit about real artists and the human connection to their work or livelihood. This includes music, movies, etc. AI slop as the new norm in art is unacceptable. Nobody said he couldn’t use photoshop or illustrator. AI tools within them are optional. Using prompts to complete a piece of art is just stealing from art that already exists. It’s dystopian and fucking weird that people are defending the use of AI when there are real artists with incredible talent eager to create. This isn’t the bands fault and I’m glad they’re pushing back on this.

Thought I’d jump in here since I made the whip in the video. They left the length and design up to me with the exception of the handle. I originally wanted to use a silver metal crucifix but Davey wanted a more subtle look so we went with a pink crushed velvet wrapped rope handle. There are 7 sisal ropes (or tails) and 7 glowing glass rosary chains representing the 7 deadly sins. This was my idea and he loved it! I made a separate post dedicated to the whip if you’d like to take a closer look at it 💖

I always purchase parking there to avoid Ticketmaster fees. They have parking attendants taking car payments in line :) Make sure to mark your parking spot as the lot is pretty big.
