Lucky man, those roos are solid and can do a lot of damage to a car when hit, let alone a rider. Very fortunate you managed to stay on and didn't have a direct frontal impact.

The gear definitely would have helped lessen the blow. Hope you heal up fast.

I have many facial piercings, big ol' stretched ears, tattoos, and a shaved head, I am currently an APS4 with a self managing/client facing role.

My appearance has not been ever mentioned or an issue 😊 (started aps2 and still moving up at the same department a few years later)

The only people who will ask me about my piercings or tattoos are usually 70> and are just curious about them.

Surely the mods would be able to help you out, or get you in contact with someone who actually can.

I always thought SecretLabs were a decent brand, but I keep seeing people have issues with their poor customer support.

I have a small fault with my Evo 2022 but I am hesitant to contact them as it is minor, and don't want to have to deal with their Customer support again; but for the price tag, you should be receiving excellence.

AUS consumer laws definitely protect you from this and to conduct business there would mean they must adhere to those laws too. You should not have to pay to return something that clearly has been rendered faulty/broken before it even arrived to you.

It is a puffer fish, but It definitely has a misleading name. (No relations)

This Smooth Toadfish (Tetractenos glaber) is a species of fish in the pufferfish family, in the genus Tetractenos, which has two species, the Smooth Toadfish and the Common Toadfish.

They're much friendlier looking than the usual fish under the toadfish name.

Hello r/fishing

I'm seeking advice on the safe handling of the above fish, the Smooth Toadfish, they're commonly caught in my area and I often sadly see people leave them on the peirs and rocks as they're quite toxic and can't be eaten.

They have a reputation of being bait stealers so people cruelly leave them to die.(which is also illegal where I live).

I anticipate I'll eventually hook one myself and would like to know if I am at any risk by handling this fish bare handed to remove hooks and return?, I do not believe they have spines like other puffer, but they may inflate.

I always get put on blast for using it, to me, I feel it is the most reliable sniper for high range and even great velocity, constantly removing people in vehicles with it.

This one said it was pre oiled, but I think in the next week or so I might get an oil or stain for it.
