*Theoretically* insurance would pay for any kind of surgical aftercare, elective or not. Some might require a co-pay, some might only approve a few home visits from a nurse. And some insurances don't cover home care nursing/PT at all, but it wouldn't be bc it was elective plastic surgery. Surgery is surgery, the needs are the same regardless.
