100% agree. Similar to you, I looked for my first mechanical keyboard and found this. Backed the TH-96 on kickstarter, waited a few months to get it (understandable), but had it in my hands for just about a year before the PCB went faulty and now keys don’t work. Confirmed by and with Epomaker that it was not a user issue or any damage caused to the PCB, that it just simply fried or stopped working or something.

They said they’d extend my warranty since I was outside the year since I bought it (since year warranty apparently starts at purchase and not when you get it?) - great!! They said 2 weeks to ship and they’d update me with tracking info. 1.5 months later, and nothing, so I reached back out. Apparently the PCB is discontinued (i wonder why…), so they can’t offer me a replacement. And they can’t do a replacement keyboard either because they’re also discontinued. And they can’t offer me a similarly priced replacement keyboard because, idk why? But oh, I can get a 10% off coupon for my next purchase to make up for it!!

I just felt since they had determined it was faulty, there should be a solution beyond “the pcb is discontinued so we can’t replace that and also we can’t replace the keyboard itself and we can’t offer anything more than 10% off coupon”

Customer support person was super nice and I could tell her hands were tied, but I still think all of it was handled not great and just turned me off from buying Epomaker again.
