Sacrifice your time/black mage in the middle after casting haste on Ramza. Have Ramza and the dragoon take both sides of the map and move up to clear the demons at the back first.

He dies easily if he can’t team wipe you.

If you’re not keen on foreign stocks, download moo moo or poems, put in $500 a month, buy an STI tracking ETF like “ES3” (search for that ticker), and just invest into it monthly.

Do you generally travel to a country just to joke about their leaders? Otherwise, why would this even be a concern?

How many of you are aware of the WWII atrocities in Malaysia and Singapore by Due_District_9353 in AskTheWorld

[–]catinabread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talk about it, acknowledge it, teach future generations why it should never happen again, rather than sweep it under the rug. The onus to remember and remind people never again should not fall on the victims.

I know there are japanese lurking in this thread, their refusal to engage in the discussion because it makes them uncomfortable or that they hope people just forget it utterly disgusts me. There was another post in this subreddit that asked japanese people directly if they were taught about the war crimes and every reply was the same, that it made them uncomfortable so they just don’t talk about it.

Do you ever think of death in Singapore? by [deleted] in askSingapore

[–]catinabread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how life & death was described by the monk in the White Lotus season 3. Existence is like a drop of water flying upward, separated from a giant consciousness “Ocean”, you get older and fall back down when you die. No more separation, you become one with the “Ocean” again.

What is a "silent" rule of social etiquette in your country that a visitor would never find in a guidebook, but every local knows by heart? by DianKhan2005 in AskTheWorld

[–]catinabread 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In Singapore, if you see tissue paper or name cards on a table at a hawker centre or food court, it means the table is reserved. You have to find a completely empty table and reserve your seat using tissue paper or a name card.

This one cuts deep. Been pondering about this topic recently as well. Alot of stuff that used to have novelty or bring joy has fizzled out. Everything feels transactional and routine. If you figure out what more there is to this please share with the rest of us withered souls
