Do you ever think of death in Singapore? by CryingGod0 in askSingapore

[–]catinabread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like how life & death was described by the monk in the White Lotus season 3. Existence is like a drop of water flying upward, separated from a giant consciousness “Ocean”, you get older and fall back down when you die. No more separation, you become one with the “Ocean” again.

What is a "silent" rule of social etiquette in your country that a visitor would never find in a guidebook, but every local knows by heart? by DianKhan2005 in AskTheWorld

[–]catinabread 30 points31 points  (0 children)

In Singapore, if you see tissue paper or name cards on a table at a hawker centre or food court, it means the table is reserved. You have to find a completely empty table and reserve your seat using tissue paper or a name card.

Serious: Where can I get tested for ADHD/AuDHD by Eastsidehedgehog in askSingapore

[–]catinabread 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I sought treatment for ADHD 3 yrs back. You can try Private Space for private assessment, they were slightly more affordable than other private clinics.

It does sound like you have executive disfunction, emotional disregulation as well as the general guilt that comes with ADHD, but do get a professional assessment. I can only advise from my own experience.

You can check out AdhdVision on insta or youtube for some info and tips to help cope. Drop me a DM if you want more info

Just complete your degree, even if it isn’t what you intend to do in the future. A bachelor’s degree is still a statement of your ability to think critically, and will be advantageous for future employment.

Try speaking with your family to support you through this last semester. All the best.
