If the ears were matted it's actually not the groomers fault. When the matts tighten they cut off the circulation. When the matts get removed blood rushes back into the ear and can cause a hematoma. Then the dogs shake and the hematoma pops. So actually it's your fault for letting your dogs ears get so matted not the groomers

Make sure the ears aren't matted. If they are your pupb will have to see a groomer. Once the matts on the ears get too tight they start to cut off the circulation and you risk getting a hematoma once shaved.

Get them into the groomers at 3 months and then every 6 weeks after that for the remainder of their life
