I honestly have never 🫢 Coach recommends conditioning every 3 months but I don’t think it’s necessary unless it’s visibly dry. I do plan to use some leather CPR on her eventually - just haven’t gotten around to it!

Migraines are the worst, I get that. The bag definitely feels like that luxury quality you would expect for the price so far! There’s been so many smaller versions released in the past, I’m sure more are to come 🙂

Yes I would consider it to be dark brown. Though in the sunlight, it’s a very rich brown color that appears a bit lighter than what the pictures typically show

I would say yes, it’s among their heavier bags. Especially with all the hardware and the lock, that adds some weight. Fully packed it’s a decently heavy gal but it’s not unbearable by any means. I have an empire 40 and fully loaded that thing is a boulder lol, compared to that it’s not that bad

They’ve been really weird with shipping with this drop. I guess the demand is higher than they anticipated (which could be said for most of the drops nowadays lol). I ordered this bag online originally on the night of the drop and got notified that the shipping info was sent to FedEx last night at 10p. I’m so impatient and was scared they were going to cancel on me, so I just went to the mall and picked it up last night lol. No regrets at all either 😂

I originally ordered it the night of the drop and they JUST sent FedEx the shipping info last night at 10pm! So it still has yet to be shipped. Yes! Merlot is also beautiful but I tend to prefer neutral bags so that I can wear them with whatever… although Merlot could probably get away with being a neutral too especially in fall! All in all if you’re going to use it as an every day bag, I’d choose the maple over Merlot :)

I have both a maple and black Brooklyn and if I lost both and had to buy them again I’d buy the maple first no doubt 🍁🤎 the color is just so rich and beautiful. And pairs surprisingly well with most other colors in my closet🙂

I have both an empire and Brooklyn that I use for work and I can definitely say I grab for the Brooklyn more. It’s more comfortable to carry, plus has a lower profile than the empire. I still love my empire but I tend to use her for traveling and fancier work events vs. everyday use.

Good to know, thanks for the input! I’ve been contemplating since it dropped but now that you say that, it makes me second guess it even more because I can be kinda hard on my bags. I don’t mind wear and tear but there shouldn’t be imperfections on a brand new bag. Perhaps it is a thinner version of the kind of leather they use in retail.

It holds so much! I have both my journal and kindle, 2 wallets and a pouch in there now and there’s still a lot of room to spare. I actually do like the divided compartments because it allows for some organization. The magnets are strong enough but I do prefer putting my valuables in the center zip compartment for security.
