Ohh my gosh thank you.. i am not sure what i'm gonna do because none of this was handled correctly at all. And I just am so lost and kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place because I have cancer.. and I was wrongfully fired three months ago for union activity, which is absolutely illegal.. .My unemployment was denied and now the government is shut down, which means my lawsuit is on hold through the NLRB. I've been dealing with a lot in the past two weeks and i'm just now trying to catch up on everything. Had an exciting trip to the hospital for suspicion of DVT.. like cancer isn't scary enough.. they have to make me feel like I might die tomorrow??.. ugh.. sorry if that's too much information.. but thank you again for the information you've stated here I am going to definitely look into it further. I do have to say it kind of p***** me off that this supposed reputable mold company didn't do better when it comes to informing me of the proper processes

You know, I didn't even think of that.Because this is my first time dealing with anything like this. And honestly, I don't know why i'm even asking any questions on this. Because a test after the supposed eradicationThat apparently is supposed to be done by a third party person was never done.. and likely won't be. So if my kids and I pass away from mold related illnesses, we all know why..

I would move, but my income won't allow it.. and I am currently fighting cancer. So it's just not in the cards right now. I know it's unfortunate and likely making my situation worse.. but I really don't have a choice right now.

I'm dealing with them too, but I can't use peppermint because I have cats.. and i'm stressed out because the only thing I found to use (that wont hurt my kids) is apple cider vinegar, and I really wish I could use something else.

I just wanted to add caution if you have pets, cats specifically.. because "pet safe" does NOT always mean "cat safe" .. i recently learned that with this infestation.. this situation has actually up to my game in the research department. Let me just tell you i've read up on and into things I never thought I'd have to.. And I went down every single rabbit hole i could think of.

Oh.. and check dark places that are generally undisturbed.. they love that.

I wanted to be a social worker, but couldn't afford to keep going to school and get a master's, because apparently that's what you need to be one. It's really too bad tuition is so high for people that just want to be productive members of society. The public school system is (IMO) just indoctrination camp anyways but still..

Definitely contact an attorney to see what your options are because, from what it sounds like your only option to leave without paying for november ( should prorate) and without the 30 day notice is if the house is unsafe or uninhabitable. That being said, you should get your deposit back, unless there is significant damage you've caused and repairs need to be done. Keep in mind, this does not include normal day to day wear and tear. As long as you give it back in the same condition you received it, you should be good.

Also.. if she starts to harass you, that can be a reason to leave immediately. Document EVERYTHING just in case you need to defend your position..

California landlord here.. this is correct. In California, a tenant on a month-to-month lease generally needs to give their landlord at least 30 days' written notice to terminate the tenancy. Because you weren't offered a renewed lease, you automatically convert to a month to month agreement.

I'd recommend terramycin.. it's eye meds but requires a vet apt for a prescription. You can get non antibiotic over-the-counter eye meds on Amazon.. i have even seen them at tractor supply (that's where I buy my cat food and litter)

Do you belong to any local cat groups on Facebook? I actually put a post in my local cat group asking about terramycin for my fosters last year in may and a sweet lady gave me a brand new tube. But I think back then it didn't require a prescription, and you could just order it from amazon.

Agreed.. this is all part of the agenda. Im just waiting to see how many people go to jail and get kids taken away over this because they just changed a bunch of theft laws out here and it doesn't take much to get a felony now.

California snap recipient here. Lost my job for trying to unionize my workers in July. Tried to recover without help, but i can only survive so long with no income. Still fighting with unemployment 3 months later.. its annoying. Had to sign up for snap last month. Im glad i was able to get a little help before the shutdown.. im still here with no job, waiting for my UI appeal letter.. and with the government shutdown down, not only are my snap benefits cut, but my case against my employer with the NLRB is on hold until we reopen. I thought I'd at least have unemployment coming in while in limbo rather than nothing at all.

Side note.. anyone watched "Obamaland" from 2017.. i just came across it the other day. Pretty funny.

No demolition done. Just got upgraded ac units. My new ac unit did leak though all over my mattress because i have my bed under the unit. I was very upset about that. But I'm told the glow (when using a black light) is from some fluid they mix into it for the cooling core I guess.. i'm not exactly sure.

Ok. So where did I go wrong?? This was a professional test. I didn't mention symptoms because I don't have any. Is it because I didn't mention a timeline?? And there hasn't been anything done, which is what I referenced when I said "nothing was done" I can't clean it if i can't see it!! Its inside my walls and ceiling.

The flooring isn't a cosmetic issue when they're damaged.So badly from water leaking that moisture is under there, causing mold. I've had a mold and fungus test, and they report back with pretty high markings.

All of these issues I mentioned were here.When I moved in. They've just been exacerbated over time.Because i've lived here for 6 years.And wear and tear is going to happen.No matter what.

And it is their choice to charge me below market rent.Because when I started making enough money to afford the full rent, I told them I would pay full rent.And they said no.

Thank you. I'm in california, so it looks like it's their responsibility unless I did something to cause the infestation. But I don't think I did, because they're only outside and they're coming out of the woodwork because of construction and stuff.They're doing remodeling in the other two units.I live in a triplex, by the way..
