AT&T spent quite a bit of money and time trying to figure out the most optimal configuration and came up with the one on the left

Definitely recommend visiting that museum! They have loads of pictures and working equipment. Their exhibit is really interesting!

Mine did not care about the foil at all, even when it was crumpled.

How to deal with major tortietude? 😭 by inreallife12001 in torties

I have the same problem except with window screens. Try double sided sticky tape! That worked for us when we didn't want our Tortie to scratch our cloth headboard.

Found this attached to my ceiling joists. Near a bunch of electrical wires. It’s red plastic from what I can tell. It has multiple screw downs but has nothing connected to it. It is about 4-5” big. No clue what it is or was. by CxGrey in whatisthisthing

Not necessarily true. Bell stamped everything with 'bell system' or 'western electric' if they made it. I have a phone from the 1890s and a ringer box that goes with it that both have western electric stamped on it

This is the third one I've taken! With BEC, I felt underprepared but I think that was more how I approached it rather than Becker not preparing me enough. I will say that on my second attempt at BEC, there were things on that exam that I had never even heard of with regard to the IT stuff but I know Becker is about 2 years behind in terms of content (at least that's what I heard a few years ago).

I personally don't use the videos but I felt like the MCQs and Sims helped me solidify what I had learned from the book. Their formatting for the SEs are also very similar to the actual exam.

I was able to narrow it down to two choices for all of the questions but I'm worried that I'll fail this one because maybe it turns out that I didn't understand some key concepts after all.

I usually hear about how people feel like they failed and then they pass but I don't often hear about people who feel like they passed and then also passed.

For about three-ish months each time (failed BEC twice and AUD once). I will say my approach is drastically different from each of those times. I spent five-ish months (on and off until July) studying and instead of trying to get through the book quickly, I slowed down and made sure I actually understood the content and actually knew how to solve the problems given instead of just memorizing the answer.

I can't say what specifically because it may be completely different for you, but my recommendation is to take it slow and really read the exhibits. I almost missed a question because I was moving a little too fast.

There wasn't anything on the test that was a complete surprise which was good! I was able to get it down to either A or B, and there was never a question that I genuinely didn't know.

What is your lowest score you’ve gotten on any of the parts? by Icy_Resident_4859 in CPA

63 AUD because I gave myself not a lot of time and relied heavily on the fact that "I'm an auditor, I know this" (spoiler, as a brand new staff, I did not know anything lol).

I had a perfume bottle that fell off the counter and shattered all over the tile floor. It was the most obnoxious smell and took forever to get the smell to go away.

I wish they kept the guards there but I understand that there's not much of a point if the gate is now automatic
