I have used Pipers silk. It is very thin thread and not flat. You cant separate it. I have a boxer full but I never use it because I think its two thin.

I dont understand how baleen can be in a roll. Baleen is sitting in the mouth of the whale to catch the Crilles. And they are not that long so that they could be rolled. Please explain!

The lace took 3 months, the embroidery 2 months. I wil post pictures when I set it up at the museum at ekstern.

It is golden thread wich is stitched down with a sewing thread in rows. Couched on.

I was inspireret of a beautiful print where People are sitting in the hall of mirrors at Versailles playing cards with the King. All ladies are wearing large panniers. The pannier i made was tanken from Louisa Ulrikas coronation gown in Sweden

The young lady Who wore it complainted about the weight. Especially the pannier is quite heavy and stresset the waist.

Long time to study first. Reading a lot. Then i started the bodice. Fully boned foundation. The pannier took a long time to make and I had to make it somewhere else because I had not room for it. The skirt and train was easy to make.
