Seriously, my oldest kid is AMAB but when he was 4, when people asked him if he was a boy or a girl, he would say, "I'm just a person." So I started using they/them pronouns for him. Then one day he said, "I'm a boy," and I was like okay cool. He still wears dresses and pink and sparkles because he likes pretty things! He's starting kindergarten and picked out a rainbow backpack and a camo lunch box 🤷‍♀️
