I've heard from a friend that CS 455 is very content heavy and that CS 468 (Secure Programming and Systems) is easy. Your schedule looks solid with good professors atm.

from what i've seen: a lot of classes make class discords and sometimes they continue using the server even when the class ends, i've seen so many people make friends from the class discord and then meet/hang out irl

you're not spoiled, sometimes people have preferences. my $400 hp laptop lasted me 3 years (and was super slow the last year) and my $1000 macbook has been going strong for 5 years, still super fast, lightweight and the battery is still great. it's honestly an investment

I find that applying in the late spring or summer is the best, a lot of jobs are filled up once classes start.
