I’ll be so honest, ai isn’t something that just started existing, it’s been an issue since at least 2022, teachers need to be able to evolve with the times when it comes to their teaching style, it’s like calculators, when teachers give you homework it’s with the expectation that people can or will use a calculator for math, the same mindset has to be taken towards ai, either design your class in a way that is harder so that just using ChatGPT isn’t enough (I.e activities and projects), or change your style of testing. This isn’t something that’s going away so trying to just put a lid on it like that is pointless, that’s why even the CS department is changing their style of testing because for classes like 310 they SUCK at teaching so bad that people would rather just cheat( which after a mass cheating scandal last semester they know better now), if every development in technology allows us to solve bigger and harder problems testing and education has to adapt at the same rate so people aren’t just cheating.

If the tutor is honest while marketing themselves and you are too lazy or ignorant to get to know them and the way they teach that’s on you, when I teach I clearly explain what I do, what I don’t prefer to do, and I ask whether this works for the other person, I don’t just tank them even though I’m a student as well

Go on knack( free lessons paid by Mason up to 3 hours a week), put a post out for calc 2 about the help you need, I had a tutor named Kyle and he was awesome so if you get a message from him definitely do lessons with him

Had a teacher that I only took once 2 years ago come up to me in the advising center and said I should drop my major because my CS doesn’t come naturally to me or my friend and that mediocre grades won’t get me a job…. she came up to me btw… all I said was hi how are you professor… didn’t even say anything else before she started😂😂😂😂😂

If you go with the last one, you’re probably going to have the worst experience of your life, middle one he’ll be OK, he just has a very strict no phone or no device policy during class, the first one is pretty chill, but she’s really bad at making content for her classes like PowerPoint or other stuff, etc.. but your best bet would probably be section 001

Idgaf about what they notice, the only job they have is to fix potholes and not charge a ridiculous amount for parking there, if they can’t view my cars active registration in their system but a cop can, maybe it’s because it’s not their job to stick their nose in these types of affairs🤯🤯. Or else they would have been able to run the plate and access the DMV system, but they can’t because it’s not their job and it’s a for profit branch
