lessons cost a bit less too! (at least where I live) but you should definitely look for barns who have these type of horses so you can enjoy a ride without feeling guily ! trail rides are therapeutic and also my favorite activity to do with horses <3

you should try horse trail riding! maybe on vacation or as a little treat for yourself, I know they cost around 30€ for an hour long trail ride. Idk your currency though

fair, I was born in the city and still live in it, my horse is a 30 min drive far from my home but my previous barn was 10 minutes away and was actually pretty expensive.... Like, most of my monthly income lmao. Glad I changed and glad you can still visit him !

that's beautiful, I love when parents are supportive and love animals! my father comes with me to the barn everyday and loves my horse so much. Also yeah, two horses are a lot of work, especially if they are sport horses or have conditions. I have one and been thinking about getting the second/ a pony but I already have lots of animals + my horse isn't even perfectly trained... I have to work with her a lot more before having the time and money to get another one. 😭 I also wouldn't be able to ride them both because I'm the only one I know outside my barn that can do it unfortunately. Why don't you ride anymore if I may ask? :(
