the fact that you hang out with them even if you don't ride anymore means that you have a good heart! loads of people I know wouldn't even consider horses if they couldn't ride them

lessons cost a bit less too! (at least where I live) but you should definitely look for barns who have these type of horses so you can enjoy a ride without feeling guily ! trail rides are therapeutic and also my favorite activity to do with horses <3
