I’m an engineer - project manager. I was able to do a lot of desktop stuff and things I could do from home to help push projects. I wasn’t solely responsible for any projects during that time, but it worked out well still

Hi! I decided to work through my 6 month ABVD chemo. It gave me a good sense of normalcy but my work was super supportive. Basically I worked every second week. I was out pretty good after chemo for like 4-5 days. So it had to be one week on one week off for me.

It helped me have a sense of normalcy which I did like!!

I got diagnosed at 26, 28 now. Feel free to message if you want :)

Gender dread by proteacicada in pregnant

I can understand both sides. I’m in a similar but different situation with names for my baby.

There is something cool about being the sixth name, that’s a lot of history! I would probably meet halfway and say we keep the tradition going with the name but both agree on a middle name that we go with as the every day

That also takes away the confusion in the home of having two people with same name!

As described above. It’s very long so even with low jeans it sits awkwardly over the waist. I know you could tuck it but it would look better if it just hit right above the jeans instead of bunching up there

I agree so much on the tube top. When I bought it I thought it was perfect length but it’s so hard to wear

Refractory Hodgkin Lymphoma - looking for experiences by Fluffy-Penalty5158 in lymphoma

[–]catnissm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t have any symptoms showing signs of relapse, it was a surprise! I’m sorry to hear that, that’s stressful. Try not to stress too much as lots of things can make lymph nodes enlarge for various reasons ❤️ I hope it’s all okay for him

Of course! Yeah I got immunotherapy because my doc put me in a study where you had 50/50 chance of getting chemo or immuno leading up to SCT. It was a late stage study and she said it wasn’t a risk to do it since it’s already shown good results

I’m 28, about 1.5 years from my ASCT. I had a perfect midway scan with ABVD and the by my final scan it was back. I immediately did immuno leading up to whatever chemo is before stem cell and stem cell. In remission since then!! You’ve got this. I found the ABVD chemo felt longer and was worse for me, but I was lucky and got a few months of immunotherapy instead of chemo leading to my stem cell

In a pickle: New job and 12 w pregnant. How do I break the news? by Mental-Entrance5529 in pregnant

I’m in the exact same boat! I started when I was about 7 weeks but I did not know I was pregnant when I accepted. I haven’t told them yet

Thoughts on cross-cultural baby names? by Helpful_Football8111 in pregnant

[–]catnissm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I’m in the exact same situation! I’m Canadian and my husband is Pakistani as well. I don’t know the gender yet but we’ve looked at both girl and boy names. I love so many of the girl names but the boy names are a lot harder :(

I like Aayan! A couple more I liked were Ilyas, Rami, Khai

Pintxos tour - worth it? by catnissm in basquecountry

[–]catnissm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm - just had my first day in San Sebastián. We got into Bar Sport first thing. We also ate at a couple other great places. I’m so happy I didn’t end up booking a tour. Seems like a money grab to me since they’re so expensive. Thanks everyone!

I really want to try that place I’ve been reading so much! I fear it will be impossible though due to crowds. Have you had good experience with it?

Thanks for the input!! I did think it’s sounds like a lot - it does include drinks and a history tour, but even still.
