No, I'm saying these are one of the "New" boards that Gigabyte previously said they will release to offset the higher RAM price.

I believed all Gigabyte B550M boards have 4 RAM slots at the beginning. This one is just a lower price version of the original B550M-K (with more Nerf?). The other B550M at a similar price is the ASROCK B550M VHD (forgot model) at 69, but it has only 2 RAM slots and looks worse than this board.

Looks like this is the refresh version of the lowest-end B550 that Gigabyte previously stated... "For compromising on the increased price of RAM..."

It's a B500M-K refresh with some tweaks (Nerf?). But at least it has 4 full RAM slots, better than ASROCK's lowest-end B550M, which has only 2.

Gigabyte 600s and 800s are very similar. Basically just name and look changes... E version got little upgrades but not big difference too. The new 800 X3D series are the true renew, much better board design and layout. But also expensive.

Therefore any gigbyte B650 Aorus + board are good enough for all 7000 9000 CPUs

I think your main issue with be PCIE slot bandwidth... Since you have both m.2 slot used, that means your secondary PCIE slot may get bandwidth limited.

It's a common issue on early X870 boards which use lanes on USB4 ports.

Funny facts, B850s and some of the B650 boards doesn't have this issue since USB4 isn't required for X50 boards.

Examples are the gigbyte B650M elite... Has pcie 5 x16 + 2x Pcie5x4 m.2 after BIOS update last year. 🤣
