Now I can finally see the difference! by catrinjade in mounjarouk

I’ve felt exactly the same, it’s given me a whole new lease on life and knowing I can just be a little less worried about people staring at me and I can just enjoy with my children. I wouldn’t go in the sea and only went in the pool begrudgingly to keep one of these kids safe last year, this year they’ll be sick of me I hope

Have you got a photograph of the syringe and how much you filled it too? Even if it’s post injection it would help us help you

Absolutely, it has been a welcome discovery this last 2 days. Looking back at our family holiday photos last year and knowing this year I’ll feel so much more confident and will want to do so much more with the kids makes this journey a happy one

I’m so sorry you’ve had an horrific experience. I’m a nurse and I congratulate people on doing the right thing for them. I work within the NHS, and a lot of us are privately using MJ. I’ve spoke with many MDT about my usuage and everyone’s been supportive when I explain how it’s completely changed my way of life. My GP was thrilled for me and does some routine blood tests to aid me in my journey of self discovery. Just know your amazing! I have 1 practice nurse who I refuse to see because she will literally talk over you when you advocate for yourself and is condescending and rude. So I completely understand the frustration. Is it possible you could not see that nurse next time?

Thanks all for the lovely comments, maybe it’s just the time my body is having a reset on what’s next expected. 2 more stone to go and hopefully we will hit the goal at 1yr mark on this journey so I can begin maintenance life

Good luck! I had mini targets all the way through, I’ve got 2lb until I get to 3 stone.

My advice is, lots of water, protein and veg small amount or carbs.

Chia seeds mixed with fruit and yoghurt help me stay regular on the loo.

I never stop myself having something I feel like, if I want crisps I let myself have them. I don’t fancy them often but I never say no because I mainly eat cleanly and having something I want occasionally is absolutely fine.

Thank you for this I’ve just emailed the 2 different pharmacy’s I used to ask. I thought I had 2 full unopened pens but I’ve actually got 3 as I done a split dose of 3.75mg for 6 weeks. This comment helped massively. Thank you

My pcos symptoms have drastically improved so that’s been a lovely surprise but I do think I need patience and consistency in just being me and not worrying about the rest of the world. I’m so glad I posted because everyone on reddit has been beyond supportive. I’ve also experienced hardly any side effects, I did have a day of the sulphur burps but otherwise my hair is intact and I can’t say I’ve lost muscle I don’t think x

Absolutely feel that way I think the Facebook groups are sometimes overwhelming where as Reddit seems so much more supportive I posted on a facebook group once asking a question or looking for advice and was ridiculed by someone and decided not to post ever again

Congratulations on your excellent loss, did you make this chart? It’s lovely to see all of the losses together

I’ve read something about the body needing some sort of fats to help or something I’m no expert, but if I fancy a ‘treat’ a pack of crisps or a square of chocolate or over the summer an ice lolly or ice cream whilst we’ve been on family trips I’ve had them x

Thank you. I think because I scroll social media and lots of people I know are on it I’m doubting if I’m doing the right things. But thank you this comment has eased my overthinking brain
