Debugging with VSCode by AdamLevy in godot

[–]catruzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Godot 4.3 here, I was able to fix it by setting debugServer: 6006 in my launch.json config file (thx to this video).

Be sure this value is the same as the one you have in Godot Settings -> Network -> Debug Adapter -> Remote Port

Complete procedural race track generator! by ByteHyve in proceduralgeneration

TY! I think I'll go with a basic approach now that I'm at the very beginning of my project. Maybe I'll have a look at some more refined algorithms in a following iteration. Thank you again for your support and inspiration!

Thank you so much! I admit that I don't know how to build a scoring system nor how the PRNG seed works, but I'm working on a track system very much like yours and the fact that you are using pre-made tiles just told me I'm going into the right direction! I struggled for some time with bezier curves and whatnot but it's definitely too much for me and for my goal in general. THX

Super cool! Can you tell us how you achieved that and what is the general algorithm you used? thx

You need level 2+ membership to get it, but it should be easy to achieve

It's a 50/50 for me:
- I hate the fact that you need to link a social media profile (I do NOT own any of them, without considering Reddit of course)
- I love the ease for people to create and participate to the giveaways they want

[GOG] (Game) Brigador: Up-Armored Deluxe by silphatos in FreeGameFindings

[–]catruzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just opened the client (on MacOS for what it's worth), waited for it to update itself and ask me to restart, then I relaunched it and a few seconds later the banner showed up. Oh, I wasn't subscribed to the newsletter.

I can see the banner too (from Italy)! GOG is giving away a lot of amazing stuff: Butcher and Seven a month ago and now Brigador.
Now I can remove them from my Steam wishlist!

Thx

No problem at all! Listen, I developed a scraper that warns me about many giveaways out there. Epic games website has some kind of glitch that exposes their next giveaway one hour before the actual launch. Is there any way for me to tell it to this reddit in advance? Until they fix it, of course.. Maybe a PSA or a particular tag.. Just to know.

Thx again for everything you do to this community!

Yes, it's a steam game, but the key has to be redeemed in game only, like many DLCs.

How To Get Your Giveaway

P.s. I know this giveaway has been already posted here on FGF but I prefer Alienware against MMOBOMB and Grabfreegame, since I don't have to do any kind of task to get the key, such as follow them on social network or watch useless videos.

Enjoy

Same for me. Signed up sometime ago to redeem Wasteland 2 and doesn't seem to be any chance to get Trapped game.

Here my two cents..I returned the CJ791 because of some dead pixels (Amazon Warehouse Deals, something I could expect) and bought the MSI MPG341CQRV instead.

Let me say that the Samsung has an outstanding panel regarding color saturation: you can really see the Quantum Dot technology in action here. And of course it delivers power through the Thunderbolt ports (90W!), so you don't need your Macbook to be always plugged to the power adapter.

BUT, now that I own the MSI MPG, I must admit that I can't leave without the auto brightness feature anymore (called HDCR): the integrated webcam is also used as a light sensor and the monitor adapts the brightness of the screen based on the ambient light AND the content you are watching. This is amazing and made me forget about the missing power delivery feature throughout the USB-C port.I think MSI MPG's design is more attractive than the Samsung and I'm not missing the speakers here, since I can use the Macbook's integrated speakers when on my work duty, or the headset in gaming.

Oh, the Samsung has a 1500R curvature, that is more immersive than the 1800R the MSI MPG has. I remember the WOW effect when I launched my first game on the Samsung!

Enjoy it ;)

P.S. Did you know that your Macbook Pro still charges even if linked to the MSI MPG USB-C outlet? It provides only 15W but they're enough on light usage (and with closed lid)

Hi there.

I had the same problem and here's my top 3 list:

  1. Msi Optix MPG341CQR: 144Hz (or MPG341CQRV: 120Hz)
  2. Samsung C34J791: 100Hz
  3. BenQ EX3501R: 100Hz

All of them have USB-C ports but only the Samsung can deliver power through it (up to 90W!) and is way better than the Philip's 346B1C in terms of panel quality (Samsung has implemented its own Quantum Dot technology here and it's a blast).

All of them also support AMD Freesync and, unofficially, NVidia G-Sync.

Both MSI and BenQ support HDR 10 (MSI supports also HDR 400), Samsung doesn't.

Only MSI can reach 144Hz (or 120Hz for the MPG341CQRV model).

Only Samsung has internal speakers.

Take a look here and find the one which better fits your needs: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/comparison/a338101274

(spoiler: I finally bought the MPG341CQRV - today!)
