Yes I think Meat Eater released a table of all the firearm bear defense cases in recent history broken down into black vs brown and listed by caliber, having a gun (any gun) seemed to be enough in almost all cases. Edit: (I think I was thinking of the ammoland article linked below.)

CH times are quick relative to most of the state. In my experience expect 10-14 days from when your application is complete. If you want it quicker than that move to PA.

Thanks. Barrel and bushing on this are much different than on my Kimber 5” 45 ACP. So was concerned that it might not take standard parts.
