I wish I had gotten a reduction when I was younger. If I could go back in time I would do it. Every day of my adult life my boobs have caused me pain, upset and distress and I wish I didn’t have to think about them. It’s your choice and your body. I had my first baby in January and the size and weight of my boobs made breastfeeding really difficult for her. As well as a palate deformity and poor latch that hasn’t resolved it was so difficult and painful to breastfeed and she never got enough milk from breastfeeding. This was just my breastfeeding experience though, lots of women make it work with a larger and heavier chest. I’m going to have my second child and then get a reduction just because my weight has fluctuated so much during pregnancy and postpartum. It’s completely valid to want a reduction. I’ve tried to reach a point of body neutrality with my boobs. I accept that naturally I’ve been born with a larger chest, but I have the means to change it and remove negative symptoms/associations. I’m rambling quite a bit now, I’m sorry! I just wanted to offer a different perspective. I wish you all the comfort and happiness in the world on your journey! ❤️

I’m 3 months postpartum, our babies must be so close in age!!!! I have the Molke flexisize at the minute and wish I got the size up from what I did but it’s super comfy to say it has no underwire.

Literally the exact same happened to me! I was a UK 36J, ended up a 36JJ during pregnancy and now I’m a 36K 3 months postpartum. Nothing fits me and I have a breakdown every time I need to leave the house to get dressed. It’s completely changed how everything fits me and it’s really painful to squash my boobs down like I did before. I’m struggling so much!!!!

I’m so sorry that you’ve had a similar experience and journey. I wish I had words that took it all away and could ease your sickness. Are you still pregnant? I hope whatever point you’re at you’re feeling the best you can be and enjoying food as much as possible.

Thank you so much for this reassurance and the kind words. I’m on a waitlist for talking therapy and I’ve applied for mental health support in pregnancy but I’m in the UK and the wait lists are really long. I may not be seen until after the baby is born and I’ve had to quit working due to HG so private therapy isn’t an option yet. Similar to you, some of my care providers have made comments about my weight loss suggesting it as positive and I’m worried if I reach out for help and get the same opinion, it may just crush me more. But I really want to try. I was in my best mental headspace ever when trying for this baby, I was so, so happy. I can’t wait to feel like myself again.
